The fastest way I know short of doing the whole uninstall/reinstall is deleting or moving your existing The Sims 3 folder. Or renaming it to The Sims 3 OLD and starting up the game. The game will generate a new The Sims 3 game - vanilla, just your base game and EP/SP's and you can go from there. From that point, you can decide what Store, 3rd party CC and mods you want to put in the game. I like using .package files because it's easy to take them out of the game. That launcher is terrible but if you prefer Sims3packs that's fine too, it just makes it harder to uninstall if you decide you don't want that CC anymore.
I have 4 games namely:
The Sims 3 Vanilla - just Base + WA, AMB, LN, GEN - strictly for building, no 3rd party or Store CC
The Sims 3 EAStore - just Base + WA, AMB, LN, GEN - again just for building, with Store CC only
The Sims 3 Legacy - Base + WA, AMB, LN, GEN - for legacy games only, includes 3rd party and Store CC and player made CAW Worlds
The Sims 3 Play - Base + WA, AMB, LN, GEN - for play and contests/challenges only, includes 3rd party and Store CC and player made CAW Worlds
And obviously to play any of these, I just rename the folder to The Sims 3 and start my game, then rename it back to what it was when I finish playing so I know which is which... so as not to confuse my addled little brain ;P
Hope that helped.. and good luck!! Happy Simming![]()
Yeah if seasons is realised make sure I'll play with it ! I'm so happy I love the sims 2 seasons very useful !

Seasons is a must, it feels so dumb having the same weather every day - but true I am used to four seasons in a day where I live. No doubt when it comes out we'll all be complaining about too much rain or wind or snow or whatever!

I'd love to have some weather and seasonal changes again! Definitely feels like something is lacking in TS3 after being used to having weather and seasons in TS2. My only problem with Seasons in TS2 was that the seasonal cycle was a bit short and I hade to decorate my families home for xmas at least once every time I playedBut I looooved to see the city covered under a blanket of snow! And the firey colors of autumn was also pretty amazing. Definitely miss it!
I agree but you know what I did in TS2? For some of my games, I made the season last as long as the season/weather in RL. So when it's winter, I turn it to winter until winter was over... that way my sims had an extra long Christmas and I didn't have to change the deco a day or two after in the game. I hopethat when TS3 seasons/weather comes out we have the option to make them as long or as short as we want to.. just like in TS2. Heck even if we don't I hope we get it soon because same weather got boring before WA came out.
