    Default Dreamraven's Album.

Okay, no pressure, just the first time I will be showing my content here. Be gentle though, I would love some feedback from the experts. Which you all are, considering I am almost new to every aspect of building, so without further ado, I give you a nameless mansion that I am working on.

The front view, told you I suck at making roofs, I opted for the flat one.

A side view of the mansion from the second floor

A top down look at the bottom floor

So the left wing, on the bottom floor, is devoted as the master bedroom, gym, sauna etc. and has two bathrooms for him and her, the right is family based, with the kitchen, a family room and a small study -ish room in front of the stairs. In front, two rooms that are lounges of sorts, are set lower than the rest of the house with their own nooks.

The second floor has bedrooms, with their own bathrooms, and a game room and theater room at the back.

So, what do you guys think?

Will carry on this afternoon after work. I want to create more walls and floors for it. My ultimate goal is to get the outer wall I made to look like the ancient fencing I used (which is part of the game I think its the ancient guard/guardian wall). I need to make it more grey I think. I made the silly stone floor in front as well. There is enough space for someone to add on to if they have a mind to, which I like. I even want to try a few turrets and such once its all done.

I'm glad you like it so far.

Default Stoked, my kitchen is finally recolored (booya)

    http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/5...eenshotdwa.png

I just finished recoloring a few objects for the kitchen for my mansion. I am pretty impressed it turned out as good as it did, even if its not a jaw dropping recolor

    Recolors are:
    • the bar stools
    • the counters
    • the curtains
    • and both the wood and covering in the chair

    What do you guys think?

Thanks. I originally started with a floorplan, but it has too many side garages, and they would not have fit either way. So I modified it. .

I am really glad you guys like it. I might package the house for MTS. (still a bit nervous abt that tho. )

    Ok "phase two"

I am happy with the layout of the house, and am going to start decorating. I have already done the recolors for the kitchen, but.. (oh boy), I am not sure if I should keep it traditional, try decorate it the way it might have been back in the day, OR, keep it modern, and if I keep it modern, then "how" modern. (If that makes sense lol). There are too many ways I could go, I'm just not sure which would look the best. It could also help me name it... because at the moment, its nameless. :(

Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Default Update: A new house I am working on.

Another nameless entry, but I have been working on this house for about 2 days now, and have grown attached to it .

It was tricky adding the garage, but was worth it when it was done.

    Walls: Trapping, Tbudgett.
Windows: mariansims and derMarcel at sims2arena.
    Fence Simaddict99
Doors: Kate at parsimonious, MTS2, and arches by tbudgett
    and buggybooz gorgeous kitchen collection.

The half paneled walls in the family room, and lounge in the front are my own, as well as the wooden flooring throughout the house.

House details: 3 Bedrooms upstairs with a study/optional extra bedroom, master bedroom has onsuite bathroom, and its own little entry portal. Kitchen, double garage with access from the house, breakfast nook, family room, formal diningroom/livingroom, pantry behind the kitchen, and a servants quarters/ or can be used as a separate "granny flat" as it has its own entrance to the side next to the garage.
