Wow Donna, that sounds like one hellava computer you have. You won't have to worry about that baby crashing for a long time. I was looking at the 16g gaming computers...the price turned me away (LOL).

Terry, when I bought my desktop..I originally bought it with 8gigs of ram....cheaper...then about a year later, I upgraded my comp. with Video Card, and bought more ram..and upgraded my power supply ( that is very important ) when I bought this I had not realized that it was only 300watts.. once I realized that, I had to replace it and wow what a difference! It helps it to run faster. I also have a 1 Tera external Hard Drive...I have learned the hard way about computer crashes..lol If you look at a comp...check and see how much wattage is in the power supply...I have upgraded mine to 600...I will probably upgrade it again...hopes this helps and good luck....Hugs Donna

Donna, how do you check the wattage on your computer? I mean where does it say that?

You have to open up your computer...it's the square box at the top of the case...it's what holds your power cord that you plug into an outlet..you may have to ask about that with your salesman or if you are ordering online, see if it's in the specs...it really does make a difference...I had to buy what I could afford and then later Christmas, birthday, starting asking for the parts to my computer...lol sounds crazy, but it has made my time on the computer so much more enjoyable..I also have a laptop with i5 processor and I love it...but I don't play the sims on that...that's for everything else...Good luck hon...hopes it helps on getting you closer to the comp. that you want...Hugs Donna
