    Hello everyone

I was wondering if anyone has tried to replicate a house they have seen online and if so how do you know how big the rooms should be in sims tiles ? Do you use a set number of tiles for so many feet of real life wall ?

If this is confusing..I understand. I confused myself when asking it !

    thank you !

    Hi!
I only make houses from blueprints on the net.
I count a single window as one tile. Beds are 3 tiles long, you see if it is a single or double door etc.

In my album I've posted both blueprints and houses. You're welcome to take a look HERE.

well that makes sense. That's what I was wanting to do is use a blueprint but I was having a hard time getting the rooms sized right. I'll try the one tile per window and see how that works for me. I really appreciate you responding.

I do things the same way, more or less, just don't always get a floor plan that has a bed in it, so I just measure one window as a block, a wider window as 2 or more, depending on the size. I also check the bathrooms out. The toilet and basins generally take up one block each, so depending on the layout of that, it also helps figure things out. I have the actual dimensions of a block somewhere, if memory serves its about a meter long and wide (will double check and come back to the post), so it can help if your house has measurements of each room as well.
