I've tried lowering the brightness and adjusting the contrast and it helps a little but that darn glow is still there! It's works for furniture and accessories but walls still don't look truly white. Oh well, beige it is, I guess.Originally Posted by timkibby
Hmmm...The only thing I can think of at the moment is to either lower the brighness a tad or change the contrast to a level that your happy with. I don't play Sims 3 (...yet. I got it for my birthday last year, but I'm waiting for my new computer to come in as my current comp. is woefully inadequate to handle Sims 2 and Sims 3 together) so I haven't tried to reduce the glaring whites. Just experiment with stuff until you're happy with the outcome.
Hania, I'm totally down to do a makeover! That church could be a really cool house, I like your idea to make it "lofty," as you put it. There are a few church-turned-houses where I live and I've always thought how neat it'd be to remodel one. I can't wait to see what you do with it!

ah I'm dead seeing those 2 awesome and stunning updates you're talented Hania,I've no words enough powerful to describe your talent , that's crazy all the custom content you have in the sims 3 and all the beauties you did with it!
The museum is realistic it may a pleasure for a sim to visit it and of course the factory/grunge house is perfect (better than mine but they are both different styles)

At the moment i am totally in Vampire mode and rather simple minded obsessed...lol. Even humming this Annie Lennox Song from the movie all the time: come into my aaaaarms again....lol, haha.
Pretty sure when the first people start to post their entries i am gonne be in shock and devastated about how plain my idea is and why i didnt come up with something better...But still can't wait to see those entries.

As a true addict i was working abit on my urban house today, while waiting for DOTY's second round...I finished the kitchen. Hmmm, somehow it turned out VERY retro...haha. I gt carried away i guess after placing that stove...oupsy!

Btw you're right..landscape is absolutly stunning in Sims3!!...and we can take fabulous pics from it!!...
