Seeing a criminal alive, whereas all your family was murdered is really hard to live believe me.He can start over his crimes after serving a stiff prison sentence if he'll escape the sentence of life emprisonment I hope he won't.Prison won't help him to be a better man quite a contrary,prison helps people in his case to go down more.
That's the reason why I hate law and I don't want to study it.
People forget to think he is a hero for people who believe in the same devilish ideology as him, we have to fright them in every part of the world for world freedom and world security.

I heard about this on the news and really, I couldn't get my head around it. The senseless slaying of innocent children is beyond my comprehension. I am glad this unhumane animal has been captured, and I hope he is dealt with in the harshest way.
Kweenie I agree with you, the justice system in my country is probably no better than yours. My son is a cop, and the things he tells me, makes me so mad regarding the 'justice system'. The law is put in place to protect the criminal, it makes no sense to me!
My sincerest sympathy goes out to the family members of the victims, it's a tradgedy they'll have to endure for the rest of their lives, so sad :(
I think everybody is right... What said Marion is right but what you said Marie-B and Lorry is not false...but we don't have to forgot that ..If we kill this sort of people..this will not give the victim back to live...but will certainly demeans us to the level from the criminals ....and we also don't have to forgot that if we kill this fanatic..this will bring him to the state from martyrdom ...and that not what we want!!!...he must pay for his crime ..and believe me..jail will not be a pleasure party for him..regarding what he has did!!!

I am happy to hear that they know who he is and is now going to get the justice he deserves! My thoughts and prayers are with the families that have lost so much due to this crazy person!!! I also agree the way the world is moving that the criminals have more justice than the law abiding citizens do..I also believe the criminals run the prisons and not the prison guards...that's scary! I would like to complete the previous message I posted (I had begun to write but I had to leave thus I left it as it is.)
These horrific killings concern some of the most thorny domains of the life: the emotional, the justice, the religion and her fanatics...
I understand perfectly the points of view of Marie-Béatrice and Lorry however I cannot refrain from thinking otherwise. The fact of knowing this murderer alive doesn't please me more than you Marie-Béatrice. Of course this man would deserve to die for his crimes but, as so aptly said Martine, it would be to lower us in its level and make him a martyr, what would be a monumental error. Without falling in the psychosis, how much adhere in this " current of thought " or to lead their own "crusade"? Imagine the influence that the death of this individual could cause...
If his arrest can allow to put one's hands on a terrorist network, for me it's better than the "poisoning" of the situation. If this killer speaks gladly about its membership in Al-Quaeda, about massacres which he prepared, it's certainly because he has contacts and because he feels a sense of impunity in front of France. For him, " the Holy War " will not get out of breath as long as people will take up the torch (and as we are in Afghanistan...). Let us not be fixed only on him, let us think of tomorrow and the consequences.
We are in presidential campaign and some will be delighted to exploit these murders to update the insecurity and crystallize the hatred. Just look Marine Le Pen remained quietly in the shade of cameras in the days following the killing of Toulouse for fear that it's the work of a neo-Nazi and who today is indignant against immigrants!
This really is terrible. It's 2012 and I can't believe how this sort of hideous hate crimes still happen around the world.
What's just baffling to me is the fact that the targets were children. I mean, imagine sending your kid to school and never seeing him/her again because of a cold blooded emotionless bastard who uses religious excuses to commit a massacre.
I thought we had gotten over this progressively since 1945 but I'm obviously wrong.
France, unfortunately, is not the only country with conflicts when it comes to rival religions.
Last week, a group of Jewish Families leaving a sinagogue were furiously beaten by a group of anti semitists.
The Israeli embassy was attacked some years ago and so was the AMIA (Jewish Mutual) leaving a death toll of about 150 people.
I'm not sure when this nonsense war between faiths will end, but I hope innocent people stop paying for their leaders' actions.

Just learned that the killer was killed...300 cartridges in 5 minutes ..Total...3 children's and one father killed...5 policeman injured... tssssssss crazy world!...in one side that's a good new.....now I just hope that some others will not take it as exemple!!...and that such bad thing will not arrive again!!!.....and now just hope that he goes to rot in the flames of hell if there is one!

The whole incident is horrifying from start to finish. I can't help but wonder how so much hatred can live inside someone so young. Where does it all come from?
What a tragic waste of life.......not only his victims, but his as well.
