Oh yes, it was a very challenging theme but also exciting and so original. At first I wasn't satisfied with Dracula and I wasn't interested in his dungeon at all but later I found the "beauty" of the round. It's so much fun to build his home

And the entries are really awesome!!! Fantastic job everyone!

    Default Blooming-DOTY 2012- Round 1-

My Dracula comes with an elegant, a bit sick style... he likes to read in the company with his faithful friends: the crows.
Amazing entries, I just repeat myself. Good luck, guys

Is it okay if some decorations are hanging out from the 40 squares? Like huge arches or ivies on the wall? They are too big so they break through the walls

Of course I take photos inside the 40 squares! The unnecassary parts are beyond the walls, so nobody can see them.

I actually meant "up to 40 squares" so anything under will be fine, just not over.

    Default Application & Round 1

    Application - DOTY 2012-cari4003

    Intro:
I have been married 31 years. I have two children 30, and 25. I am a grandmother of a soon to be 8 year old. I also have another grandchild coming in August.
I work as a Cad Designer.
I love working in the yard and playing with my grandson when I'm not busy. I also love creating for Sims2 and Sims3.

Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
I like the challenge and each year I try to get a little further than the year before. I also love to watch the creativity that each participant shows.

What is your favorite style of decor and why?
I like a more traditional with modern touches. I think I like this style the most because you can match so many things together.

    I love BPS because...
If I am looking for a particular item I know someone here will know where it is. If I have a creating question I can usually get that answered here also.
