allamoda - DOTY 2012 - Round 3
This was a tricky, tricky round! It was actually more difficult to pick my own character than to decorate for one that was already assigned! I chose a very famous and very handsome character who is an archaeologist, an educator, and an adventurer. I used 100 squares in all if you count the outside area too. If not, then I used 70 :]

Round 3 - romyhorse
The character I chose is from my husband's all-time favourite movie, so thanks to him for the quotes and decorating tips. So without further ado.... Surfing, Buddhism and Bank Robberies!

VonNdaSun's Round 3 Entry - Sims 3
My round 3 entry is from a character found in both books and movies. James Bond has been around both for a while, but my favorite period in which he is featured was in the mid-to-late sixties and very early 1970'sm and that's where I drew my inspiration. Humpf. And I call myself a feminist...
You'll find lots of clues from several different movies, most from my favorite period, but a couple from later movies too.
The curved element I used for the room doesn't show a grid from the overhead shot, so I traced my own grid. I used roughly 95 squares, but it's a little hard to count because of the curvature.

My character is all about spectacle and style.
Beautiful women, lavish cars and a dangerous, exciting life.
He was borned in 1953 by a writer's pen. Since then we could see his character in lots of movies
played by several handsome actors.
My personal favourites were the ones with Pierce Brosnan so my living room was built to him in a minimalist,
modern style. I was inspired by the movie: Die another day where the main colours were black, grey and white
flavoured with sparkling diamonds and the endless ocean.

Schneekatze - DOTY 2012 - round 3
My Round 3 room is for a little fantasy character who likes a cosy home full of clutter and gardening. Although most other people of his species usually don't travel far, this one did. Some of the hints hidden in the pics are the pipe and the round windows.
This character was created by J.R.R Tolkien, it's a hobbit and is called Frodo.
