It's an old fashioned Vampire Basement where Dracula makes his Astronomy studies and his "beauty sleep". He also misses his human family as you can see there is a pic of them at his fire place.

Love all the entries so far and have to post mine fast, till the courage leaves me...
Dracula (specially the Hollywood adaptation) is one of the most romantic movies ever for me...eternal love, not beeing able to let go etc. etc...So my entry is pretty classical.
Count Dranculs favorite place in his castle is the crypt of his beloved wife Elisabetha. Here he spents his many lonely hours mourning her, reading to her and feeding on chickens (he is to depressed to go hunting then lol).

Here's my basement.
My Dracula is born in the Middle Ages and he longs back to those days, but he recently bought a laptop to stay up-to-date.
If only he had elctricity........
Don't worry about the gory mess in the corner. Dracula already fetched a bucket of water to clean it.

So my vampires seem to be a little more disturbing than the rest..but that's okay! My idea was a group of modern day vampires who have a flare & preference for the "classic" look and a more unconventional way to get the blood they so lust for. Their basement lair includes a sitting area to watch such tortures, as well as a small shrine to the man himself, Dracula.
