The entire 40 squares...

Use no more than 40 squares for this space.

The wording only specified no more than 40, I took that to mean that we could use less as long as we didn't go over 40...Mine is currently 39.5 tiles and I have no idea how to fit in another half tile without throwing the balance off :

I should prbably check one more thing, it says:

Suitable Decor Styles

Grunge
Gothic
Medieval

Does that mean we have to use all three or at least one of those styles...again, I took that to mean that we can do whatever style we like (as long as it looks like a vampire lives there) and that these three were suggestions but not mandatory...did I get that wrong? My current WIP is sort of modern gothic but not really medieval or grungey at all :/ ...I get the feeling I may have fluffed this up entirely D:

Since 40 squares is rather a small space most members stick with 40, but 39.5 squares is fine.

And the 3 styles are just suggestions like you said, you can pick one or do your own style as long as it looks like a vampire lives there.

OMG! I almost missed DOTY!

Introduction - Hi there! My name is Yvonne, I'm a hotel manager living on the southeast coast of sunny Florida. I've been married to a WONDERFULLY talented chef for 22 years. We have one baby - a very handsome dalmatian named Dominic (geez, I have got to get around to posting pics of him here). I love the Sims, and have become a convert to Sims 3 now that there are so many great creators out there making gorgeous objects and CAS items to keep my simmies from looking like deranged blobs of clay. I also love digital scrapbooking and generally anything that has me tinering about in Photoshop. When I'm not sitting in front of a computer, I love sailing - who can live on the water in Florida without having at least one outdoor hobby too?

Why enter DOTY 2012? Simple! 'Cuz DOTY 2011 was A BLAST!!!

My favorite style of decorating is an absolute hodgepodge. I love mixing ultra-modern with baroque, grungy-industrial-modern, a little of everything! I guess my style matches my personality -anything goes.

I love BPS because I know every time I visit, I will be amazed with the talent of the members here. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I can only guess that this is the very first post you've ever read here!

Round 1 -Sims 3 Entry - Dracula's Basement

After sleeping in a tomb for centuries, Dracula finds solice in enclosed places - the world is a big place and he can get anywhere in the blink of an eye, so after a long evening of travelling to fill his ravenous apetite, it's nice to relax with a good book in his cramped chamber before the sun rises .

I decided to create a basement were he can withdrawl in daytime, in 1 of the towerrooms ly the remains of some past glory, from before he became a vampire, the other one holds his restingplace. the main area is for some nice relaxation.
