Please tell our members a bit about yourself and what you do in life apart from Simming.
-If you don’t already know, my name’s Tim and I’m 18 from Sydney, Australia. I’ve currently just finished high school and am having a gap year so that I can travel and next year I’ll be studying zoology at university. Apart from sims, I like to hang out with friends, read and watch a good movie.

Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
-I want to enter because DOTY is so much fun and really pushes you out of your comfort zone and to get into round 4 which I’ve missed out on the last 2 years I’ve entered.

What is your favourite style of decor and why?
-I like many styles so this is a hard choice, but I think I’d have to say Contemporary-Modern.

I love BPS because...
…It’s my home on Internet and I’ve made many friends on here and it’s a great place to hang out and escape from real life and have people listen to your probelms and offer advice, plus it has excellent downloads.

1)Introduction

What's there to say? I am Angela, 36 years old, mother of 3 little girls (the oldest is 5 and the twins are now 3) I love to create, build and decorate for Sims, started doing that about halfway through sims2 and still enjoying it way down Sims 3.

2) Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?

I LOVE DOTY! I mean, i did not enter the first few, but started 2 years ago. i love the challange, i love to see how everyone does something special to exactly the same room within the same assignment, and i love how it brings out the best in each and every one.

3) What is your favourite style of decor and why?

ehm... djeez, that's hard.. I think i would have to say contemporary. i love to work with wood and natural fabrics, but not the run down ones.. sort of speak.. that seems to fit most into the contemporary i'd say.

4) I love BPS because...
I love coming here, i love the people and think the most talented a gathered here. People are here for each other and always trying to lend a helping hand.

About myself: I'm Nina, writer, psychologist and a high-functioning geek in almost every level. Sometimes Dark Angel, sometimes just a dreamer and a dragon-owner. My family lives in Hungary, I'm a Hungarian girl and proud of it. We are about to move to San Francisco, to live our dreams as well.

Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
That's easy: this is the event of the year here, at BPS, a huge challenge, and a great time to enjoy amazing pictures all around.

What is your favourite style of decor and why?
My favourite style is definitely the modern in these days. The modern style gives a lot of possibility to create something really great and I can combine this style with others, without hesitation.

I love BPS because...
... of the question of the year! BPS is the only place we can be sims-geek. At BPS, if you write that word: mesh, everybody knows it. BPS is professional, the house of joy and the source of different friendships. Thank you BPS for everything! I wish good luck everyone!

Hello all, My name is Marieke and I live in this old little town near the coast in the Netherlands. I'm 35 years old and work in healthcare for the eldery people. And I do some graphic design.

I want to enter DOTY, JFF, because I like the challenge and I would love to see what everybody comes up with. Every year has been a blast!

My favourite styles are, Mid-Century Modern, Fleamarket and recently I got addicted to Medieval designs.

And I love BPS, because of the atmosphere. You really feel at home here.

Please tell our members a bit about yourself and what you do in life apart from Simming
I'm 20 years old and live in Germany. Currently I study Civil Engineering.
I like singing and cooking and of course the sims. As sports I play Badminton.

Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
I entered in DOTY 2010 and that was so much fun, so I wanted to enter this year again. As I got 2010 to the round 4th round, I hope I make it this year to the final.

What is your favourite style of decor and why?
My favourite decor style would be modern/contemporian with lots of clutter, but eclectic Style is fine too.

Everyone here is so friendly! Also, the most beautiful downloads for the sims are hosted here

About Me:
My name is Frani, I'm 27 years old and happily married to my high school sweetheart. We have two little ones and they are my whole world. He serves in the Navy so we are currently stationed in Southern California (which is a big difference from the small rural Pennsylvania town I grew up in!). Being a Navy wife is a job in itself, I currently serve as the Ombudsman for my husband's command. I am basically a resource center for the families for all things Navy related. Besides spending time with my family, I really enjoy reading and trying to learn new recipes, but having a 3 year and 20 month old tends to limit being able to have too many hobbies!

Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
In just the past year I've really begun trying to decorate and though I may not be the best at it yet, I am really proud of what I've accomplished and how I have grown. This is my first time ever entering DOTY and I look forward to the challenge and of course the fun! I want to join in this to learn and grow even more.

What is your favourite style of decor and why?
I can't really say I have a favorite style, I don't even know what to call my RL style. I guess I like contemporary/transitional. I like to try it all and mix things together to see what works. I prefer modern furniture but with special touches that make it feel warm and more like a home, not just a house.

I love BPS because.. simply it's amazing here.
Everyone is so kind and helpful. The CC is always beautiful and the contest are fun & challenging. I've been an active member off & on since before it was BPS and I just love what it has become. I'm so glad that I came back to simming and that I am able to be a part of this community.

Okay, I don't have a very big "portfolio" to choose from and these will all look familiar so I hope that's okay!

Please tell our members a bit about yourself and what you do in life apart from Simming.

- I am 34 years old (not considering myself old tho, I am still in my twenties even if my body does disagree..) and come from Finland. I work at homeless service and deal social welfare as a substitute for now, as long as the person I am substituting is on sick-leave. I got the job without suitable education, because I worked in different task at first in the same organization and they needed a substitute there where I am now and thought I was a quick learner. I got my secretary papers last year, and the office work is just the kind of thing I want to do, not sure tho, if it is this place.

In my free time I like to read, watch movies, play facebook games and that sort of thing..

Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?

- Well, it is the event of the year, isn’t it? I’ve entered couple of times and it is simply amazing what people can do with the game. I am not sure I can compete with all the talented peeps around here, but I am sure going to try my best =)

What is your favorite style of decor and why?

- I have to say contemporary/simple/clean is my favorite, although I like many other styles too and often mix styles.

I love BPS because...

The people around here are so nice and talented and there is no drama or hassle, people are accepted just the way they are. It is a loving place to be <3

MDP that's me. I'm a photo-editor, working for a small time store that makes personalized items to gigantic posters.
I also enjoy writing, playing the piano and saxophone, the color neon green,
and funny little things like this guy eating popcorn watch him chew it's hilarious.

Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?

Well, I entered last year...so I have a goal. I must make it to Round 3.

What is your favourite style of decor and why?

Contemporary, but I do like my grunge. Why? Well, because I do...that's all.

About Me:
My name is Delia, I'm 21 and I'm studying in Germany.
I love the Sims, Sims 2 is my passion!
I love the countryside, I've a horse and a cat.
2 years ago I learned recoloring, it's a bless and sometimes also a curse^^

Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
I love participating in contests and I like to be challenged, so I'm trying DOTY!
DOTY is the BPS-highlight of the year and it's a pleasure to be a part of it!

What is your favourite style decor and why?
My favourite style is countrified, with cozy elements in warm colours matching for farm houses which are my favourite ones. My townhouses are always colourful with old and new objects and I'm addicted to clutter and patterned walls.

I love BPS because...
...there are a lot of friendly people all over the world, everybody is helpful if you're having a problem and you find here a lot of talented and creative creators and the best downloads of the world!
And if you don't know what you could do with your sims you always find inspiration at BPS!
