    Please tell our members a bit about yourself and what you do in life apart from Simming.

    I am retired and spend my time making quilts, playing MMORPG's online and entering design contests with the Sims 2.

    Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?

    It is the ultimate in Sims designing and decor. In another life I would have had my own show on HGTV :P

    What is your favourite style of decor and why?

    I'm kind of all over the place, very eclectic in accessories, but really love the clean lines of contemporary and mid-century in the major pieces of furniture and color schemes

    I love BPS because...

    I have always found it to be an open, friendly, helpful place in the Sims community.

    About me

    Hello my name is Tiffany and i'm 25 years old. I am a student at Owens Commuinty College and I'm studing Commerical Art. in my spare time i love to play the sims, draw, paint, scrap, basical anything crafty.

    Why I want to enter

    This is one of my fave contest here and i try to enter every year. I usally dont make it far but i have a lot of fun trying and it seem that eash year i do a little better so if i keep at it i may win.

    What my fave. decor style

    My fave style would have to be a mix of moden with a touch of shabby chic. i love the chrispness of the modern style and the femanie touch of shabby chic

    I love BPS because....

    Its the best place for all simmers out there. this place has it all from help to download to the lovelyest simmers out there. this place is like one big family

    *Please tell our members a bit about yourself and what you do in life apart from Simming.*
    I´m Morana, 27 year old journalism student. I live in Croatia, a beautiful country in Europe. Besides playing with Sims, I spend my days being hooked on movies, TV-shows and music. You name it, I´ve seen it and heard it. Another huge part of my life is sport. Not so much playing but watching, cheering and enjoying.

    * Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012? *
    I entered last year for the fist time and made it to the Finals. It was very unexpected and, well, flattering. But, the most important thing is I had lots and lots of fun. And when I saw the theme for this year, I didn´t think much as I know its gonna be a fun ride again.

    * What is your favourite style of decor and why? *
    It´s hard to explain. Let´s put it like this: I love to mix and match where it mixes but doesn´t really match. I´d call it the chaotic eclectic style. :P

    I love BPS because... it´s a group of awesome people who love what I love. It´s a place where you can get your confidence boost with the flattering comments in the album area. It´s a place where you can download the most awesome CC. It´s a place where I first started posting my work. And got better with time.

    Me, Myself & I
    Well erm how long have you got LOL. Born in Africa. My job takes we all over the British Isles working for major retailers as a merchandiser, supervising teams from 4-40 people, so I mostly live out of a suitcase. When I'm not designing & decorating in Sims 3, I enjoy playing Dragon Age, Assassins Creed etc when I'm not playing, I've then got my head in a book or eyes glued to the TV watch a DVD.

    Why do I want to enter DOTY 2012?
    Well I've been a member of this forum before it became BPS and have never entered DOTY as I've felt that I wasn't good enough and still don't really, but I'm going to give it a good go as I feel it helps you grow as a person and as a creator.

    What is your favourite style of decor and why?
    In RL my favorite style is Art Deco due to the simplistic lines and classic looks.

    I love BPS because...
    I couldn't wish for a better place to call Home.

    My name is Ashley and I'm a 26 year old wife and mom. I enjoy web design, making jewelry, shopping, hanging out with my family, video games, movies, and of course The Sims! I tend to be kind of neurotic and immature at times (which makes for some interesting parenting moments) I'm also a very caring and affectionate person. My husband and I have been together for almost 8 years and we have a son and a daughter.

    * Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
    I participated last year and had a blast! I'd like to enter again this year because I enjoy the challenge and working with themes that I wouldn't normally pick on my own.

    * What is your favourite style of decor and why?
    I like so many styles but if I had to pick just one it would probably be contemporary because it is a bit modern only much more comfortable and soft.

    * I love BPS because...
    it is home to the most friendly, talented, and devoted people in the entire Sims community! It is a great place to learn, find inspiration, and even make new friends and I am happy to say that I have done all of the above!

    My name is Michelle...By trade I am a hairdresser.. I am married and have been for 23 years (to the same man lol). We have 2 grown daughters Brittanie and Jade. I enjoy collecting stray animals and finding them forever homes, being with my family,working in my house and of course the sims.

    * Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
    I LOVE a challenge! Participating last year showed me what a challenge this is and I am so looking forward to it this year!

    * What is your favourite style of decor and why?
    My favorite decor style is definitely modern. I started out in sims 1 a Loooong time ago and got interested in the modern decor back then...but I do enjoy challenging myself with other styles as well..

    Well theres not much to tell..my name is Dorine and I'm married to my soulmate we've been together for 22 years,we have 2 beautiful children together..besides simming I'm a taxi driver,cook, teacher,laundress,and landscaper..

    WHY DO YOU WANT TO ENTER DOTY 2012..

    I guess to test myself...I didn't make it past round 2 last time,but it was the best two rounds I got to play and who knows maybe I might make it to round three this time...

    MY FAVORITE DECOR STYLE...

    I don't think I have a style,but my favorites are shabby and country style

    I LOVE BPS BECAUSE.....
    The wonderful helpful people,who will always be in my virtual life now!

    I am thinking about entering I did not see this asked before but for our Application submission pics of our own that we like; is it okay if the picture has a Sim in it or would you just prefer interior design shots? Sorry to bother just wanted to clarify.
