I am with you...also refreshing since crazy since yesterday evening...even went this far to see if Jonesi has logged on to the page haha.
I was wondering alot about one thing for sims 3 players: As the final house doesnt have to be built from the ther rooms, will it be allowed to use another lot, or even world for each round? I mean the view and specially the weather is pretty important in S3 pics and each world has its very own. For example for urban themes the highrises of Bridgeport or for scary themes the fog of Twinbrooks.

Apologies for posting this round late, had to work late yesterday unfortunately.
Anyway...let's get on with Round 1!
You are not being given a house to build, each room can be deleted after your pictures are taken, you do not need to add on further rooms to build a house as the round progresses. If you reach the final you will be building a house for exterior decorating purposes. For each round I will give you a character and a room to decorate with a choice of decor themes. It is up to you to use the information given to create your entry.

DRACULA

Dracula is a vampire. You do not have to build/decorate specifically for "Dracula". You can choose to stay with the "old fashioned" Count Dracula and show a dungeon/castle type basement or you can gear your entry around a modern day vampire. It is completely down to you to use your imagination. The room should show some indication that it belongs to a vampire in it's decor.

Firstly you should create your basement using the guidelines below -
Use no more than 40 squares for this space.
You must include stairs leading down to the basement from above.
You must have no natural light.

Indication of the character
Presentation
Don't worry if grunge type decor is not your usual style, plenty of other characters coming up in further rounds and all the characters are vastly different.
You may enter DOTY 2012 until Round 1 closes. If you have not yet submitted your application you must submit your application and Round 1 together.
