How in the heck are the judges suppose to judge these???I love them all....I am so blown away by everyone's entry....I am so glad I don't have to do the judging!!! lol .Fabulous Job Everyone! Good Luck to all

Please tell our members a bit about yourself and what you do in life apart from Simming
I was born and raised in California, moved to Hawaii for 12 years and then met my Husband and relocated to his home state of Texas 8 years ago. I miss the mountains and ocean, but we have a good life here. We love spending time with his kids and grandchildren, and in our home is constant activity and a source of umlimited love and amusement from our three beloved dogs, two of which were rescued from abusive homes. I am the department supervisor for a high end luxury, travel and private club corporation. Its a high stress job which is why I enjoy losing myself in decorating contests or just the enjoyment of decorating in Sims game.
Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
I entered the first two DOTY contests and did pretty well. I enjoyed the challenge and am always so amazed with the talent we have here. I always in awe of the imaginaton and creativity this contest brings out.
What is your favourite style of decor and why?
I love shabby chic because iof the textures, colors and the feeling of lightness and comfort. Unfortunately for me, my husband isn't fond of the style. Otherwise I prefer traditional and contemporary with a touch of the exotic. I love to punch up a neutral pallet with something unique and interesting.

It's the best Sims site on the internet with wonderful people with fantastic talent!

My name is Nicole, the most of you know me as simpl(a)y. I live with my little family in Vienna (Austria). In real life I work as a mechanic, although it is a difficult profession but I love it.
Why do you want to enter DOTY 2012?
I think DOTY is one of the hardest contest, and itīs a honor to be a part of it.
What is your favourite style of decor and why?
I canīt tell you what is exactly my style, I love to mix different styles. The most important point is that you feel comfortable.

LOL! No worries. This is just the application round where everyone submits samples of their past work. The judging doesn't start until Round 1. Judging by all the fantastic samples of everyone's work it should be an awesome contest!How in the heck are the judges suppose to judge these???

My thinking was that reading a quick synopsis or character bio online is a lot different to actually reading the book and getting a sense of the character's personality etc! ...but I meant it as a rhetorical question; I guess I was just thinking aloud.
Anyway, not long until we find out! Think I'm gonna be stalking this page for the rest of the night! lol
