Adrijana, is your cc compressed? Compressing them greatly reduces the load time. Mine is about a min or 2. I have tons of cc but they are compressed. I followed this tutorial on how to compress them http://martinecoppens.blogspot.com/p...-tutorial.html
As for the sim location icon, when you take a picture in game you do not see that in your pictures.

I believe it's maptags on/off but if you're worried about it being in your pictures, mine doesn't usually show up. Good luck with all that other nonsense too, I hate it when the game is a pain in the butt!Originally Posted by mischief

ok, honestly? I hate AIW..!But I won't be ranting about anything, instead I'll just post....
Though I love all those crazy kitchens/dinings of other contestants, I couldn't bring myself to use bold colours and funny furniture, so I made a victorian/gothic/something-styled..room with AIW elements. Think 'Alice's life(house) after her journey to the Wonderland'. Also, (I hope that this ain't against rules), as there wasn't anything said abuot the kitchen being functional, I made something different with that, wonder if you'll get it ; ))))

Also, for TS3 I've learned from experience that if you're computer should normally be able to handle a certain amount of cc but is crashing or lagging it's usually because of out of date or corrupt cc. f you haven't already, make sure you run your cc through the rigfixer and Dashboard (for packages) or CUSTARD (for Sims3packs). Also make sure the mods you're using are compatable with your patch level.
I just recently DLd a set and in my haste to get decorating I forgot to do all of the above and my game took 10 minutes to load then was virtually unplayable because of lag. So I closed it down and did all the above then when I loaded again it took the usual 2-3 minutes and the lag was greatly decreased (I still have some because I have a ridiculous amount of cc in my folder for this contest - more than I've ever had).
miklin83, missroxor, franijol212 thanks a lot for your advices. Yes I should check my packages for not updated content and compress them.
I never actually use the built in camera shot, I use the screen capture program (habit from sims2), but if it ignores that obnoxious thing I'm gonna try it.

I know you have already gotten advice on this...but the way I take pictures is to hit the tab key and then the f10 button, using the ckey for screenshot captures and it makes all of the stuff (sim related) disappear. I usually do mine in pause mode too.
