The Vanishing Vanity 0_o

So, I choose Cassandre's Vanity, cluttered it, saved my game, went back to do the closet, and the vanity was gone! I couldn't figure out how I had deleted it! But oh well, put it back, did the closet, saved my game (yes, I'm very anal about saving) went back to clutter a little more and yep, you guessed it! The Vanity had VANISHED again!!!
This happened 3 more times!!!
Is it me or ???????????

Weird... Try to place it again, but this time only the vanity without the clutter before you save the game and go out. If it is there when you return, could be one of the object you are using to clutter or perhaps the OMP's. If that the case try to test the objects one by one over it.

But if the first time you place the vanity alone it dissapears again, then probably is the vanity file that could become corrupted, so try to replace it again with the original one.

Perhaps someone else could give you more information and help, but at first, at least try to test these options to discard possible reasons. Good luck!!!

Thank you Gigi! I wen back and emptied it and saved and it still disappears! I haven't used it in ages, all of the clutter is stuff I use every house and the o.s.m.p's are the ones I use all the time. So I will just delete the vanity and re=download it.

Have you used the vanity before? The reason I ask is that there is a vanity that was extracted from Uni. It's supposed to be basegame but when I place it- it disappears in live mode. I've been trying to figure out why it does that, according to SimPE it's basegame and I double-checked all the resources. Since I was needing a vanity that didn't need Uni or Seasons, I cloned the Seasons vanity (and made it basegame in SimPE) and it doesn't disappear on me. (Then again..I have Seasons so that might be why it doesn't.)

Hi Maria, yes, I've used it before, quite a while ago,and I don't go into live mode, hardly ever.
I was decorating my house and I save all the time and three times I went back and there's all my clutter, but no vanity! I tried all the things Gigi suggested, but it was still gone. I have never had anything do that before, shoot, I starting thinking I was crazy! hehehe

Is a a "real" vanity, aka you found it in "Tables" or do you find it in "Mirrors"? If it's the latter, it disappears with walls down bit it's supposed to still be there if you put the walls up back

Yes, it's a real vanity and found in tables. I deleted it (in my d.l. folder) re-downloaded it, tried again and sure enough, it was gone again! tottal of three times. I've used this vanity a lot before and never had it vanish, but it does now! The only thing different is I'm using a downloaded town/island (?) I don't know, nothing else disappers. ????? It's a mystery for sure. But, trust me if there is a catagory for weird, I fall into it!

As this isn't the original behavior of the vanity... Perhaps is not the vanity but another object added to your downloads later that is conflicting with it.
