    Default Creating walls

I know this is probably a super dumb question, but I have created some walls (they appear in my game, so I know they are somewhere) my question is where do I find them in my Sims folder? I used Homecrafter so they should be package files(?) but I cant find them to delete the ones I dont want! I also need to find them because my daughter wants them for her game too.

I don´t use homecrafter so I don´t know exactly, but I do know that many walls have unidentifiable package names... they appear as packages with long series of letters and numbers in my DL folder. Maybe you can identify them with delphy´s organizer or with clean installer?

I use clean installer too, all your walls should start with the package name "wall" You can rename them with clean installer too

Ok thanks Hannie. xx Just a question, is it better to use SimPE to create walls? Is it as easy and do you know of a tut somewhere?

ETA: Just seen your post Kim, thank you xx

You could try this, as this is what I do...

Create walls with Homecrafter and import them to game. Do not open your game. Go into your downloads folder and click "Date Modified". This will sort your downloads by date, the walls you just imported should be there at the top. I move them from my download folder to a working folder and rename them there. If you do more than one wall at a time you'll have to open them with Simpe to see which wall is which before renaming them. I usually just put the packages in a folder with a name that represents the walls as when I usually make walls there is a theme or commonality to them, then move the folder to my downloads folder.

I don't know if using Simpe is better for creating walls or not, I remember reading somewhere that it's possible but tricky.

I think Homecrafter is the easiest to use for walls, never tried with SimPE but I would think it involves pushing a few more buttons.

Walls are such fun to do, looking forward to yours Sharon.

There is a tut for creating walls in simpe here, but I suppose it is more complicated than homecrafter. SO I'd say if homecrafter runs for you, stick with that!
