Hello,
lucky me I found back to this thread :-)... gonna try Angelas omsp and have a look if the sims can handle the fridge using this to place something on top of the fridge.
edit: Angelas OMSP have 2 big drawbacks in my opinion:
- shiftable seems to include not free to place - they stick to the grid and can only be placed every half simsquare like Paintings and walllights can be placed
- they need to be colored invisible by hand otherwise you will see them in life mode.
Greetings

Thanks simension! Always helps to know the pros and cons. I really do like how most are visible in buy/build but invisible in live action. The only drawback to this is if you are not in live action at the time that you want to take pics. Not that that is a huge deterrent, but it can make the difference between one set and another depending on why you are using them.
Talking about uses, there was a special set...not OMSP... on MTS for TS2 that allowed you to place these "fixes" that would cause your sim to ignore so as to walk right through, or avoid so as to walk around...would be so nice if we could have something like that for TS3...although there could be...haven't looked. Would certainly take care of game play issues and make your game more realistic....your sims walk around a pile of clothes instead of through it! Just thought about it since the subject of sim incompatibility came up...say placing something on top of the fridge would cause the sim not to use the fridge...place this fix on the OMSP and object and voila', everything is hunky dory again! Of course this would be another thread entirely! lol

@ simension
I read somewhere a while back (I think it was on Club Crimsyn) that EA made so that things that can shift up and down cannot also include the free to place option and honestly from everything I have seen I think that is the case, although I dot know why EAwould do that.
Those are the two I use the most as well

Hello again,
I have a question to all those who use the mts omsp - sometimes when starting the game and loading a lot the omsp seem to have forgotton their given height. Some are back to the floor - but not all. First I thought it might be sims passing by too close - that's not true. When they did this once, they repeat their behavior, when deleting it and taking new ones from the buymode they stay up again. Does anyone else have problems like this? These problems are realtively new to me using those - and the lot where this happens is huge with tons of deko - though I play without cc 8).
@lpvinyl21
Thank you for your confirmation about the square connected placement of angelas omsp.

Once in a while the MTS Granthes one, yes, does that to me too,.. usually tho only if i place the omsp and then go back and add a floor,(color) it will pop back to its original state (flat) it doesnt happen very often tho. its a minor issue to me tho..Nothing out there is completely free of issues, but i still think thats the most versatile one. im sure others have their preferences as well =)

I've always used Mango's and Granthes OMSP's. I tried Angela's but I can't get it off the grid so I uninstalled it after fighting with it for so long. Mango and Granthes have been updated since the Pets patch so I suggest getting the updated versions.
Thanks Lissy.
Never did play Medieval Sims.....would have been nice had they built that feature in though. What they really need to do is actually ask us what we want in a game then, even better, listen! lol
