Help with a new pc ( SOLVED)

I will try to make my explanation as short as possable.

My neighbor is making me a new computer. In the mean time he is letting me use his custome made one. and it is awsome.
My delema is the optical mouse wireless is not working in the game.
I can zoom in and out. the arrow to move the house up or down is not there. I have tried every setting on the mouse. and it still will not funtion like it should.
second thing is I noticed it is changing my files from package to rar.
when I download a set of items, I open the zip and inside files say package but then it takes all of them and makes them rar.
I sure hope I explained this well enough.

Good Morning Val,

First question, are you using your mouse on a glass top? If so, use a mouse pad or anything to put something between the glass and mouse.

When you open your rar files do a cut and paste into your download folder.

If you still have problems with the mouse try a wired one, most mice are just plug and play now
I sometimes have that problem if I try to open a rar file on the desktop, it works better in a folder

OMG My 2 best friends to the rescue!!! I love you both dearly. well I figured out what I did wrong with the files. I needed that second cup of coffee to figure it out. LOL the mouse is his and he said he couldn't hook mine up. it was not compatable or something like that. I tried using a pad that didn't work.
I will just have to wait for him to get up this afternoon.

Any usb mouse will work val

Well I wounder why his wont work in the game?
I can only use the in game controls on the left of the bottom board. but not the mouse.
