One of my daughters is brought in one day with Sims 2 lent by a friend few of temps after their exit and I wanted to verify if this game was not harmful for her (she was 7 years old) and in fact it is me who became hooked. I had never played any game on pc. I had to learn to use a computer and since I learnt a lot with this game; by participating at the BPS forum, I spend in phase two that is the recoloring and the creation of my album.

I dont even remember when I strated to play Sims1, but I got Sims2 as a Xmas presie from my uncle. Strangely I didnt like it at all so I kept playing Sims1 for a lil while after that. But then I found out about having the option to download cc on the internet, installed the new discs and Im on it since then hehe.

Man oh man, my love story with Sims in general started a long time ago in the year 2002. xD

I was 9, and I was watching this show on G4TV (an American channel focused on video games), and saw these sims on the tele, it looked interesting but, I was too young to play. :(

But somehow luck was on my side and my aunt had the Sims 1 and the expansion all the way up to Vacation, and then she let me have the Sims 1, and then I bought all the expansion after that. When they started advertising for the sims 2 I was already hoooked on the online community (especially storytellers and CC) for the sims 1 (Makin Magic was SO FUN). But anyway the ads made me want the sims 2 so much, but everytime I had the chance to buy it, it was sold out. Eventually in 2007, I got the Sims 2 for my birthday and have been SERIOUSLY hooked to it since, (I've played TS3 but I like TS2 so much).

I don't know when it started but at some point my husband made me a surprise with the Sims1-I think he knows me better than I know myself.I love it so much, and my daughter always discovered something new, so we start playing together, me choosing the furniture and the characters. I was so pickie about furniture so I was glad when Sims2 was released and recolours start coming, but I have hard times from so many crashes - at first all I could do was characters from bodyshop...not even a family or a house...The computer cope eventually with the help of my husband and I was able to build, than I wanted more so I instaled SimPE...and swear that will be all...Now my daughter plays Sims3, but I never have the time and everything about cc seams so complicated for me...I must negociate with my family every download and every programme I want to work with and it's still so much to learn about Sims2, so I don't think I'll ever start playing Sims3, although I made some beach houses...

I got started with sims 1 because my friend had it and got me addicted. I played it for 9 years until my discs died! Then I upgraded. It was probably a good thing. I had so much custom content it took my game 45min to load!

I got S2 something like 7 years back from a friend, installed it, tried the tutorial and...maaah...didnt like it. I thought i was just not a gamer...Then 4 years ago i moved to Sweden. My busy big City life became very, very quiet here as i knew NOBODy accept my boyfriend.
I tried S2 again and first thing i did was building a house...A few days later i discovered CC and this was the end of me...haha. Super hoocked.
I wasnt involved in any kind of communty back then, didnt REALLY decorate...i just played arround alot and downloaded alot...it was abit boring after a year.
When i heard S3 comes out i was hoocked again and then SUPER disappointed about it...Those faces and lack of CC was horrible...I didnt play much, but when the first CC poped up i started again (i liked the CC hunt alot). Then i saw some amazing S3 pics at livingsims and was impressed with what you can create with so little CC. THAT got me really into it...
Since posting my first compliment post there i am lost in S3 and decorating....
Now that i basicly spend all the time decorating i miss S2 very often due to the CC. I tried reinstalling once, but the graphics, the missing CAS tool and the task to download all CC again kept me not giving it a real shot.

I had sims 1 a long long time ago and quite enjoyed it, when I was laid off a couple of years ago I found that I had a lot of spare time on my hands so I picked up a second hand copy of the sims 2 and went from there. I've gone on to pick up all the addon packs and tend to play it for at least an hour every day. I find that after a fairly short amount of time I get bored of my sims and start over, I've never had a sim have babies never mind have generations of the same family in my game, I'm hoping that one day I'll create a sim that I can have live a long and fruitful life.

I've always been interested in avatar simulation games so that's how I found the sims 1 for myself and the sims 2 right after it came out.

When I was in my first year of college, my roommate's friend brought The Sims 1 over to our apartment. I watched her play for about two hours while she created a "Brad Pitt" Sim and built him a house. I was so obsessed that I bought The Sims 2 right when it came out, and I've been playing ever since!

I got started with Sims original after watching a college roommate of mine play. She eventually got a boyfriend and hardly ever came around the apartment, so I asked if I could play it on her computer. I was hooked from there. Once I graduated and got married, I began my own Sims collection and ended up owning all of the Sims originals and the EPs.

When Sims 2 came out, I was 8 months pregnant with my daughter! She was born pretty soon after it was released. I think I had about 2 weeks of playing on my own before she was born and then I'd put her in her bouncey seat and set her next to me and she'd watch me sim. My daughter is now 7...close to being 8...and I still love simming!
