Maybe because I like the style but how about a Sim from the grunge side of the world...it could be urban...or if we want a spin on it a steampunk or apocalsypse version.

Just a comment so please dont anyone take offense.. all these are great suggestions i like them all BUT.. isnt that limiting people on entering, such as the case of not all of us use pose packs/hacks..i dont use ANY thing like that in my game... Annnywway its just a Q so please dont take offense. Thanks for reading.

Ohhh...in one sens you're totaly right kathy....didn't think about that!!...but maybe It's possible to those who don't use poses hack..to use the pose from EA..I know It's not really the same..lol..but It can be a solution!!..because anyway we have to find some new ideas for this contest..I think a lot of possibilities were already used in the past...isn't it?...so a make-up is necessary..lol

Thanks Kathy, you have raised a valid point. My original idea behind C-A-S, (besides providing a contest for sim creators) was the creation of the sim, so any posing/decorating is secondary and not a requirement for entering. Even in the 'set the scene' pics, these pics are simply about showing the sim in his/her 'world'. We have had many wonderful entries where the sim is standing or sitting and not 'posed' as such.
A certain amount of custom content, such as clothing, make-up and hair is advantageous, but again, if you don't use cc you will not be disqualified.
My main focus when choosing a theme, is whether it is do-able for both Sims2 & Sims3. We couldnt, for example, have a plantsim contest.......but the idea could be modified into something to do with nature etc, so all ideas put forward are considered.

I have an idea, as it's almost the Carnival seasons including in my city ,and as I see we can download some costumes,why don't we contest one day about this theme? An Harlequin or a Venizian wealthy woman or simply Maya The Bee or Minnine Mouse.
Ok I admit this subject is a bit vague I should rack my brains .
Well either the Venizian,Brazilian,carnival theme or the funny and celebs carnival theme.

Sharon please forgive me for answering you a bit later,I visit this thread only when I have an idea, you were right to don't put aside the sims 3 sims, because a lot of people play it and they are fabulous too.
About plant sims for the sims 3 I saw somebody created the sims 3 hairstyle version and we have the chance to use green skintones from the Base Game...Therefore we don't have many troubles now to catch up the sims 2 strange sims.

Just a thought...the poor male Sim is so neglected and to be honest, I DL more for my female Sims...But, how about a CAS dedicated to the "Average Joe"?
