Hi everybody

I'm starting out fresh and shiny for this album. I had some really gorgeous comments on my last album and I want to start by saying how grateful I am to everyone here at BPS, it's such a loving community and I am so so happy to be back. I'm not going to re-post everything from my old album (i'd be here for a week!), it's quite nice to have the opportunity to spring clean some of my less favourable entries anyway...

I thought I would start by posting some of the things I've done whilst in the great internet-less abyss. I had three big projects: sim realistic portraits, a fallout 3 house and a house full of little nooks. I'll start with the latter, I hope you enjoy and much love! x

In this house I tried to create lots of cute little nooks and focal points. Overall the house was a regular family home for a large creative family; look into the corners and I wanted there to be places you could curl up with a good book, pull out a sewing box, grab a pack of cards or get creative with canvas.

p.s. i'm hoping this problem will go away when it's actually posted, but in my preview post some of the pictures are coming out WAY bigger than they are sized in my photobucket. I don't know why this is happening, I hope it will magic itself away!

Great job Jessica... I'm sorry for your problems with pics...you tried to resize the pictures with paint program before making upload for Photobucket?

Jessica, your pics came out just fine ! Actually, I think they are automatically resized but I might be wrong.
Anyway, the summer house is my favourite. I like the realistic, simple and inviting feeling that I got while looking at it.
Looking forward to seeing more !

wonderful houses Jessica, this album is far better than the old one.You've got style hun!

The sims has and always will be my favourite computer game, however a very close second is Fallout 3. So imagine my horror when my fallout game commited game suicide by having a massive hissy fit and stop working. Long story short, I couldn't even re-install :( Then an idea struck me; i'd bring the wastelands of fallout 3 to the sims 3!

This isn't my usual boho style home, it's all about the grunge baby. Picspam ahoy:

Overhead view. I tried to make it look like one the Springvale style shabby houses but with two storeys, tucked away in the more mountainous North of the wasteland Where i'd figure you'd be safest:


Nothing says wasteland chic like a bbq look out post on the porch roof:


The back garden, complete with a rusty playground and some actual growing vegetables, probably stolen from the Rivet City science labs:


Little Maggie playing on the slide. Just don't try it in shorts- that sure would leave rusty bits where you don't want rusty bits.


The living room, gosh I do love retro-futuristic furnishings and there's so much great stuff out there to soothe my addiction:
