Eye Problem with Subset of Recolor

I'm busy recoloing Cassandre's wonderful nursery, but if I select the crib for example, the subset window comes up in SimPE, but it doesn't show the sets, just a blank box with a disabled OK button.

I've tried other meshes, but their subsets are shown. Is there maybe something I'm missing with these meshes?

    Thanks!

It sounds like the crib isn't recolorable. That would be because there is no tsDesignModeEnabled entry in the GMND or because it's slaved to something else. Slaves can't be recolored. In SimPE, if there is no TXMT, MMAT or TXTR, it's a slave. If those are there and the tsDesignModeEnabled isn't in the GMND, it would have to be fixed before it can be recolored.

that's weird, because the crib is recolorable, and has been recolored by members. Maybe it's a simpe bug? I included a few recolors of the crib in the set, did they appear in your game?

Maybe it's a slave? I've seen similar things when a mesh is actually a slave. Just thinking.

No it's not a slave. The bedding and the frame are stand-alone subsets and can both be recolored. In my opinion, it's either a simpe problem or the file got corrupted somewhat when you unziped the archive. If Simpe still doesn't want to show the subsets, try redownloading the set.

Like Cassie says, it is recolorable. I recolored it for a contest once and had no problems.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe my version of SimPE is outdated. Which is latest version?

I'll also try redownloading the set.

I've redownloaded the set, but still no luck. Then I guess it must be SimPE? Is it maybe because I don't have all the EP's installed? What are the required EP's?

    Thanks!

The set is base-game, so you don't need any EP for it... That's definitely weird. Try to go to Simambertation and download the latest Simpe version, maybe it will solve the problem. Sometimes my Simpe acts up so I uninstall it and install it again. It usually works.

I've tried to uninstall it - but funny enough.....I couldn't find the program anywhere to uninstall! Anyway, so I just installed it again, but I still get the same error. I just chose one of the recolor files? Is that maybe the wrong one? I've attached a screenshot of the problem, maybe that will help?
