{Answered}How to get a contest published on the home page news?
I *totally* want to solicit recolors of my mirror in the current 'Just 5'...
But I don't see a 'post new' link on the home page where the news is... Am I missing something about where the topics on the home page come from? Is it only moderators who can post there?
Any other ideas on how to solicit participation?

I think it may only be staff who are able to post on the home page, except for Gardenof who posts in a regular slot. I will make sure
You mean the articles on the front page? I'm pretty sure only admin/mods/update volunteers can post there. Not really sure who all can. Maybe you can blog about it?

I'm not really sure what you mean Holly? Can't you post your Just 5 recols in the Just 5 forum? The home page is for forum news and can only staff can post articles but members can reply to articles.

Ah ok, I see. I don't think Just 5 is advertised on the home page, just as member contests aren't, as they aren't ran by staff.

Ok! Sorry for the late reply, I've been out most of the day... MsTeaQueen was right, I was looking for a spot to advertise/announce the new Just 5... And I wasn't sure if the announcements on the home page were made special by admin/moderators... I posted a link to the current Just 5 in the chat box on the forum index for now... Thanks for the blog suggestion allamoda!
ETA: It's the first time one of my creations has been the subject of a challenge, and I was/am having a bit of creator's anxiety about folks actually participating and recoloring my mesh... So I apologize for spreading my anxiety about the board...
