Apartment Living - Final scores posted!
This is a decorating contest, but it is a little different from other decorating contests. The catch is that you have to try to decorate your rooms without cluttering them too much. A bit of clutter is allowed, of course, but the idea is that you end up with 3 liveable apartments in the end, where sims can actually move around.
We will be building an apartment building, and decorating 3 apartments of different sizes and for different inhabitants. Further information can be found in the round info. Don't worry if you don't have AL, or you're entering with TS3, you can just build a fake apartment building.
You will be required to decorate one apartment for each round, and you will be given some specifics, such as a colour or object that you must include.
Rules
You can enter this contest with The Sims 2 or The Sims 3. *
Anyone can enter, that includes staff and designers.
There will be no eliminations.
Images can be 800x800 maximum.
No pic-in-pic (collages).
Minimal photoshopping, such as sharpening, blurring and lens flares, is allowed.
Please only enter if you know you will be able to finish the contest under normal circumstances.
Extensions can be granted if you ask via pm.
All forum rules apply.

Round Info
Application Round (01/09 - 10/09)
In the application round, you are required to build your apartment building. The style is totally up to you, but there are a few requirements. You must include the 3 apartments described below. Be careful with how you place them, as you won't be allowed to change exterior walls in later rounds. Interior walls (within the apartments) can still be changed later. You can make your apartment building as large as you want and can include many more apartments, but you will only be decorating these three.
Apartment 1:
- max. 69 squares
- for a single sim
- 2 room apartment: one room is the bathroom, the other room will have to include bedroom, kitchen, dining and living areas.
Apartment 2:
- max. 104 squares
- for a couple with one child
- 5 rooms: bedroom + bathroom + kid's room + kitchen + living and dining
Apartment 3:
- max. 169 squares
- inhabitants not determined
- must be spread over 2 floors (Include stairs! You can change them later, if you want, but please already include them in the app round.)
- must include 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a study, a kitchen, a diningroom and a livingroom. You are free to choose if want to merge some areas into one (like a dining and living room).
Any communal areas you want to have, and the exterior, must be decorated in the application round. But remember, no overcluttering! Be careful in choosing and placing your windows and doors, as you will not be allowed to change them later.
Required shots: a top view of each floor, with the grid visible + max. 8 other pictures of the exterior and interior (communal areas) of the building.

Participation prizes
Deco giraffe mesh in four sizes. Three larger sizes slaved to the small one. Made from 3d model. Edited and lowered polycount. Polycount is 1400.
