The dark, forbidden attic has been given a new lease of life with the addition of a large skylight. The room is now flooded with natural light making it an idea artist's studio.
Great job people!! Mines going to be up probably in the next few days. I am LOVING this round. I had never done a attic before DOTY.

Growing up we always had a "Family Fun Night" so this is what my Attic space became, whether it was Movies, Video Games or jamming out to the Karokee machine we were all together for atleast one night!

The attic of cherished memories has been used by generations of the Smith family. Holding many beloved possessions that respectfully have been kept & stored for over one hundred years. Great Grandma Bess's quilt, Auntie Iola's coming out dress, Susan's 45 record player, cousin Margaret Ellen's wedding pictures all quietly put away. Sometimes, the children might sneak up and play with the toys from days gone by or touch and feel the past with excitement.

Fabulous entries everyone! This is already shaping up to be another tough contest! Question for the judges. Can we use white as an alternate color as long as the required colors are predominate? As an example, a white sofa or chair with pillows done in the required colors? I am finding that the colors are pretty overwelming when used exclusively.

There's something very interesting about the floor plan of your attic, which truly turns the windows you have used into a fantastic feature. It's decorated beautifully.
