Me?: I am a mom of 4 lovely noisy teenagers, I live in a suburb of Boston which seems to be either too cold or too hot. I enjoy painting with watercolours, quilting, reading Steven King novels {am in the middle of his epic The Dome at the moment} & of course The Sims 2. I am also a fan of music videos, will watch most any, find them fascinating and brilliant at times. I am a moderator/designer/updater here at this glorious forum which I enjoy wholeheartedly.
How Long You Ask & Why?? I have been around forever,can't actually recall when i first made my way here but it has been 3 years or so I'd say.
I wasn't going to enter this year, my entry would be just for fun so I had decided to bow out but at the very last moment, I just couldn't help myself. I adore this contest and am so looking forward to jonesi's brilliant challenges.
Do I have It??? Hard to say, won't find out either but that's OK. The fun ahead {and most likely hair pulling and late nights if this year is like the past few} will be reward enough. Good luck everyone!!

**Can you tell us a little about yourself?**

Well my name is terri, an older gal who loves the sims, interior design and all the creativity that BPS brings out in their members. I've been gone from BPS for a little more than a year due to a family illness and then I dabbled awhile on my own with the Sims 3.........Hated It!!!!

So now I'm back, got my Sims 2 game re-installed and ready to go!

**How long have you been a member here and what is your main reason for entering DOTY?**
I've been a member here since 2006 and until my absence was a featured designer. I've been around the sims community for quite awhile........I'm a relic

I'm entering DOTY to get those creative juices flowing again.

**Do you think you have what it takes to compete and get to the final?**
Maybe........I actually won Designer of the Year in 2008 (Can't believe it's been that long ago) and I was a faithful judge last year.

I know I'm still a competitive sort.......and I can keep up with the young uns......but got to bump up the creativity to stay in the game. We'll see.......just happy to give it another try and see all the great ideas everyone brings.

Just a little then ;) I'm S1mmy, a 32 year old that feels like she's in her early twenties still. (If only time could freeze, ay?)
I'm an English Lit major who likes to sim whenever time allows, and have been running a Sims-website with Mik since last year.

*digs in memory* Have been a member since May 2007.
My main reason for entering DOY is Mik; she twisted my arm so hard it nearly came off ;)
Nah, and to get the creative juices flowing I haven't entered any contests in ages, and they're a good way to get inspiration for things.

Dunno, I'm in it for funsies mainly, so I'm gonna let time tell and just have some fun & inspiration along the way, hopefully.

I've been a member since the start of ReflexSims Forum.
My main reason for joining is to see if I can do as well as last year with even less CC!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Let's see.... My name is Michelle and I'm 31. I live in Knoxville, Tennessee in the United States and I've been playing with sims for about 10 years, although I only really got into them about two years ago. I have a 5-year-old and eight, yes count em', eight cats that I love, love, love! Currently I am a stay-at-home mom but am planning to return to school in the fall and finish my degree to be an English and/or History teacher. The sims are kind of my stress relief.

How long have you been a member here and what is your main reason for entering DOTY?
I have been a member since April 2008. The main reason I wanted to enter this year is for experience and a little fun. I have just started entering contests so I am pretty new at this. I loved looking through all the old DOTY entries from the past 2 years and thought this would be a great contest to try and maybe learn a little something in the meantime.

Do you think you have what it takes to compete and get to the final?
Well, of course I hope so! Like I said, I'm pretty new at this so I figure this is more of a learning experience, but hey, who knows, beginner's luck maybe?!? :hoppyfroggy

I have a some quick questions before i post my app, in the rounds after this is it ok to change roof colour and floor colour? Also in later rounds if it ok to change the type of stairs you have and the fencing you used around it?

I have just done everything very basic for now as i don't know yet what i will be doing in each room, but just so i know ;)

Yep, you can change everything bar wall placement in later rounds. Have added all the new applications to the first post. Approx 5 hours left until Round 1 and the end of applications.
