Sure. My name is Eva, I'll be 22 in August and I live in Belgium. I'll be getting my masters degree in English and Dutch filology this year, but I'm going to study for a few more years afterwards. I love to read, hang out at sims fora and breed fish in my aquarium. I'm really boring, actually.
•How long have you been a member here and what is your main reason for entering DOTY?
I joined in October 2007 and started posting during the first DOTY, so that must have been about April 2008 I guess. Watching all that creativity during the DOTY competition is what drew me over the line and what inspired me to try decorating myself. My reason for entering? DOTY is like THE best contest of the year. I have to enter, even though I shouldn't.
•Do you think you have what it takes to compete and get to the final?
Not at all. I actually don't have time to compete seriously, I have a master thesis to write, that has to be finished 2 weeks after the end of DOTY. You can expect 'sparse' decorations from me and for my own good I should not make it to the third round. But it's DOTY, how could I NOT enter this?

Hello all. this contest sounds wondeful, I think I will try to see what I can do. But I have one (silly maybe) question: as I can see, all applications are in the same shape, but what about doors and windows? We will add them after? And if that, do all applicants have to put them in the same way? (I like that idea, because I think it will be fairer, such as "My house at first looks extremely like yours, so let's see who can make it more wonderful")

I have no kids, but an adorable doll-face persian -who is very loudly asking for attention at this moment! In addition to TS2, I'm also playing WoW together with my husband ever since it's release. So, after 12 years of non-stop hard working, i'm enjoying the wonderfull life of a housewife
I love cooking very much. Music, travel, books, movies and decorating are a selection of my endless list of hobbies!

I've been registered as a user at the beginning of this year. I was not going to enter DOTY at first but thanks to the encouraging messages, i've decided it can only be fun! I'm applying just for the sheer joy of decorating a beautiful house!
