A little about me….
My name is Julie, I live near Portland, Oregon and I am the proud mom of two teenagers. I am only two months away from finishing nursing school which has limited the amount of “Sim-ing” I can do so I look forward to having more time in the near future.
Membership and Reason for entering…..
My membership is new but my daughter, *Pink*Cupcake*, has been a member for years so I get the low-down on Sim news and designs through her. I love designing and decorating and promised her I would enter this year because she has been urging me to do so for some time.
Do I have what it takes?????
I respect the time, imagination, and artistry that goes into Sim designs so I can only try my very best and enjoy the process.

Koolaid: I noticed your second story stair tiles are sort of messed up. You should check the other apps (Like my moms one post ahead.) Because I think there should be more open spaces on the second floor.
If I'm wrong let me know, I just wanted to give you a heads up!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Of course I can! I'm Taylor, and I am a fourteen year old daughter, sister and Simmer. I live in Oregon which always seems to rain and have a murky feeling to it. But fear not! I try to keep my spirits up, and even though I may not be the most popular girl at school (not by a long shot) I get by. Of course, with high school looming large, I may have to rethink things. I am pursuing my dreams of one day becoming a graphics designer, and am being backed by my little, crazy, totally lovable family.
How long have you been a member here and what is your main reason for entering DOTY?
I have been a member here since the snowy winter break of December 08. (I still remember logging in when there were 6 foot tall drifts just outside!) I have always been in love with this forum and if it was possible I would probably drop down on one knee and propose. I guess that's part of the reason I wanted to join but mostly it's the competition. I'm going against the best clutterers/color-coordinators/and all around kick booty simmers. And when you are competing against all these awesome people, I am bound to learn a whole lot.
Do you think you have what it takes to compete and get to the final?
I truly think I can. I've been wanting this for a long time and now that I see April on the calendar above the phone and I want to do this even more. I'll try my best, and I'll push myself even further. I am dedicated to this.

My name is Sarah, I'm 28 and I work as a freelance Graphic Designer . I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. My biggest passions are film & music - I can play the drums and the guitar - I also love all sorts of design - interior, architecture, industrial design, I love it all! My big love at the moment is design & culture of America (and the rest of the world) through the middle of last century (40's to 70's). Loves it
How long have you been a member here and what is your main reason for entering DOTY?
I have been a member at BPS since ...gosh I don't even know. I am a perpetual lurker, and I've been lurking since longggg before BPS was reflex forum, lol. My main reason for entering DOTY is that I said I would if Pikkon would, lol, so there ya go. I also love to challenge myself every now and then, and from following previous DOTY's I know this is gonna be a major challenge and I'm looking forward to it!
Do you think you have what it takes to compete and get to the final?
Damn skippy I do!! LOL! Nahh, I think I have as much as a chance as anyone else entering, I know all you guys are superior designers and I just relish the opportunity to be amongst you all!
