thanks for sending it. I have now tried again this time with this file and it doesnt say missing anymore) the filetable looks exactly like your now..and still nothing.....
And you have the recolour/basemesh scanner ticked? And the recursive bit next to the recolour/basemesh scanner bit...
Did you tick the recursive bit when you loaded the meshes folder onto the file table...otherwise it's scan the meshes folder but not the folders inside it..

Lina - I've no idea either...I'll ask around and see if I can dig up something else..
Gjdf52 - It should take about 2 mins to load the meshes folder, sometimes mine get's stuck too, so I'd close down SimPe and then do it again. The meshes are loaded when the tick stays in the box in the file list table.
How big is your meshes folder?

Jonesi: I have 2 sims folders that I switch names for, its sims 2 and a recolor folder (so I wont have to load the game with all stuff when checking my recolors) and Ive been using the recolor folder game latest though I always changed the name to "sims 2" for the actual sims 2 folder when I run the scan....maybe I have to run the actual sims 2 folder just before the scan...? thats maybe why it cant find all my meshes....or am I out in the blue now? :chin:
My mesh folder is 3.30GB alot i know but it is hard to part with them . Simpe seams like it freezes and some times it won't work at all. But i get to the spot were i click on reload the green line says it is loading enable color option and cat patterns bundel it will finish then does nothing else. My computer green light will flash slow but nothing happens. I have tried this like 20 times same thing happens.I don't know what to do next don't know much about simpe. Thanks for your help
Linacherie,
I was having a similar problem, when I took it through a second scan it was showing the same files missing when I knew I had them. I found it helped to clear the cache at the end of each scan so it reloads fresh each time.
Sorry don't know how to add a picture but it's the part of Jonesis tutorial where you load your recolours folders in the scanner setting, click the cache tab and clear cache.
Please always remember to back up your downloads folder, just in case!
Sorry if this is not too clear.
Lindsey
Lina, I'd defo add the original folder back to the Downloads folder...SimPe will load it from the Sims2 folders...
Gjdf - Mine does that also...kinda sticks and does nothing, just the little egg timer spinning round and round, but most of the time the meshes folder has still loaded...do you never get the green tick staying in the box?
