I finally present my (extremely late) entry for round one! I can't stress how sorry I am that it wasn't in on time; family problems arose I'm afraid ):

Ahhhh (a collective sigh of relief), I shall never again control 18 sims at once. If it wasn't for the freezer clock and free-will off, I probably would have pulled hair out during this round (and oh oh oh the laaaag - didn't help I was using a beach lot either lol) ^_^

Downtown there is a bridal shop called Something Blue (you know like: "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue and a Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe.") Lola Azzurro, the owner, chose the name because of this and her last name (which is Italian for a shade of blue). She sells new, customized, and gently worn gowns.

Faelyn didn't forget to bring her list of things to do & questions to ask, nor her color scheme!

When you first walk in the door to the left is a set of steps that lead up to a rack of gowns and some knick-knack things...

Faelyn confessed that she didn't have a particular dress in mind, but that she would like something with lace, preferably white, and something that would compliment her. She's not too worried about whether it's too formal or too casual (it's her wedding and she'll wear what she likes)! The only stipulation given was that she didn't want an overly expensive dress and that she has no problem buying a gently-worn gown. (This girl is a coupon clipper and bargainer, I bet she saves more than any of us lol).

Faelyn let her friends pick out a couple of gowns to try on, after Annika's attempt Faelyn finally intervened...

The color scheme was pulled out and fabric matched up!

After trying on a few dresses, picking a back-up, looking through the book of gowns several times, and generally having a blast Faelyn finally decided on a gown.

Now to talk prices...

Ahh, the perfect gown (which happens to be gently worn and reasonably priced), but the question is did she actually pay that or talk the price down some more? I guess I shall never know unless she starts bragging about great deals again...

where did get all those wonderful mannequins Joanna?! beautiful entry~

They are actually sims! I went into bodyshop and created a skintone and eye color (which is floodfilled actually) similar to the gray color used in bodyshops "start new project" section. I put wedding dresses on them, posed them with various pose boxes, and then froze them with the freezer clock (so they wouldn't move and cause me a headache)!
