Hello everyone! Anna here – and this is the first day of my wedding planner journal!
Exactly 1 month ago, Marc proposed! Oh my goodness, I am so excited! As a commemoration of our engagement, we had some photographs taken in London's Hyde Park, where we met just over 3 years ago. Both of us have lived in London all out lives.
This is our wedding party - from left to right:
Lydia Peterson, our flower girl, and practically my little sister.
Trent Fisher, Marc's best friend and his Best Man.
Marc Torrick, love of my life and future husband.
Anna Bligh (me), future Ms. Torrick <3
Amy Peterson, my best friend since high school and my Maid of Honour. Lydia is her younger sister.
Terry Bligh, my batty old mother whom I insisted be a bridesmaid.
We would have loved to have more of Mark's family in the wedding party, however most of his family, including his parents, moved back to Nigeria (where he is from) and have since passed away.
Groom:
Name: Marcus Torrick
Age: 23
Occupation: Pharmacist
Likes: The city, dogs, clean sheets, origami
Dislikes: Racists, gardening, cats, rubber bands
Interests: Football, Latin (the language, yo), woodwork, cross-country running
Bride:
Name: Anna Bligh
Age: 22
Occupation: Children's book illustrator
Likes: Kids, reading, reality-tv (especially Survivor and Big Brother), film noir
Dislikes: Musicals, shag-pile carpets, heavy-metal music, post-it notes
Interests: Horse-riding, drawing / painting, fashion, learning to play the cello
Wedding Colour scheme:
Marc: "We came up with the colour scheme for our wedding together. We think it really represents us as a couple!"
Anna: "Exactly. Each of the colours seem a little odd on their own, but they come together very harmoniously!"
Marc: "Like they were made for each other."
Bonus: Wedding Invitation:
Man, this round was fun! I can't wait for the next round (wedding dresses, ooh!)
Wonderful Job Alfie and Kathy!!!! Gemmie and Rachel im gonna edit my post for my app to only have just one set of the invitation... just thought id let u guys know....
