    Default Worn / weathered windows and doors

    Incredible, just read somewhere about someone who has 33,000 downloads in her download folder for the Sims .
    I thought that the 18,000 downloads I have were incredible!
    Anyway, that'll comfort me to ask for some more items I really need!

    One of my quotes is: "You can NEVER have enough windows and doors for your Sims." (the other quote is "you can NEVER have enough kitchens for your Sims").
    I already have a lot of windows and doors and the Beach House set from Simtomatic is one of my favourites.
    BUT.... there's a lack of worn and weathered ones!

    So WCIF really nice worn and weathered windows and doors which will be perfect in cottages/beach houses?

    (I'll hope my download folder will go up to 20,000 after this WCIF-thread! evilgrin*)

    I completely agree. I'm a complete sucker for windows and doors in Sims.

    But here are a few weathered/worn types

    Jonesi's Charm Windows and 2 Windows and 1 Door Set Hunni has done loads of wonderful recolours of the latter, here

    Shakeshaft has several sets of windows, some of which have some weathered recolours. The Cottage Build Set is one I like. You can get them at TSR or at the booty

    That's all I can think at the moment, am going to hunt around for more though.

    this is a wonderful window & door set, it doesnt show in these previews but its included some white really weathered wood recolours + recolours of the glass.

    Loco-plus has some very nice weathered paint recolours of Maxis doors and windows. http://loco-plus.xrea.jp/the-sims2#build
    Other than that, there's just so many weathered recolours of Olemantikers Breeze windows out there.

    I really laughed at your 30.000 downloads comment. Will you get a heart attack if I tell you I have 110.000?

    Holy Simoly has some nice weathered doors, windows, siding, and paneling. The doors and windows are all Maxis recolors and you will need OFB for some of them.

    There's a set at TSR called Bourbon Street which has windows, doors and railings in weathered colors. Can't remember the creator but I'm sure it's easy to find out.
