I think its a halfwall with shelfs on top of it and a column on the side, maybe this could help you:

I'm pretty sure there are some shelves over at TSR that are designed to go 'into' walls, which create the open look like that. I'll go look for them in a second.

I'd like to hijack for 3 things:

1. Sofa recolor
2. The 35mm camera on the sideboard/tv stand.
3. The mini bonzai looking plant on the center shelf, third row down, potted in a white.

I think the sofa recolour is by Mira and can be found in her Designer section.
