Kryss I actually celebrated with a party after returning from hospital I never felt better and certainly did not feel less of a woman but then I never considered my feminism was only in the parts that allowed me to reproduce.

They actually eneded up scraping the endometriosis off my spine and this was part of the reason I was having so much pain and lets not get started about the bleeding every 2 weeks. Celebrate the end of the pain and be happy when you can go past a certain aisle in the supermarket and spend the money on little luxuries like I did. Take this as a new beginning and new you. I was very young to have mine done only 35 but it really was a relief.

My husband did not see me differantly either he saw a woman revitalised and happy and definitely better without the pmt LOL. Hope all goes well for you.

I'm just popping in to see how all my wonderful friends on this forum are doing.

It seems very quiet here -- I hope that means everyone is just busy and that you are all okay!

Not much happening with me at the moment -- just going to work. We are due for more ice and snow. They are predicting the biggest snow storm for the season in our area this week. I hope it passes us by! I am so tired of cold and snow!

Good morning ladies!
I am so sorry I haven't been on here to give you guys an update. Just trying to recover and I've been unable to sit at the computer for very long. Two weeks ago I had my D&C and Laparoscopy done. They "DID" find Endometriosis, lots of scar tissue and a Hybrid/Hybid (?) Cyst along with the Fibroids. He stunned me when he said Hybrid or Hybid Cyst, I've never heard of that kind before. I'm hoping I got the name and spelling of it correct. He removed it all. We talked of a partial hysterectomy which will more then likely be the next step. I'm thinking maybe by middle of this year if not sooner. Just depends! I'm now at the point that it doesn't bother me as much as it did before. Don't get me wrong, it's not something I REALLY want to do, but if it has to be done then so be it... If it's something that will make me feel better, I'm all for it!!

Then to top things off last week before getting my staples removed, I had to make my poor husband an appointment with our general physician. He has Bronchitis....and for the past few days now I've been feeling terrible as well, so it's back to the doctor we go again today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be the fourth week in a row we've been to the doctor. I'm getting real sick of going over there ---- literally!

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well?!?!?!?
I need to go and get ready for my doctor's appointment.....

P.S. This is first time I've ever said this, but I'm SOOOO ready for spring!! This wacky weather we've been having is for the birds!! Rosanne, I know you must be sick of all the snow......Plus there's more coming tomorrow!

Wow, has it really been that long since my last post?! I shamefully find myself drifting away and I don't mean to be. Real life has me busy at times, but there's no excuse for me not to be able to sit here and write a little note once in awhile. I apologize!

Hope everyone is doing well...
Things here are starting to bloom a little and the temps have been quite pleasant. Although I don't like what the weather brings this time of year --- tornadoes and thunderstorms! Mother Nature can keep those to herself!

Rosanne ~ I have recovered from my surgery rather well. No more hurting so for! It was a month on the 24th since I had the surgery and I have yet to start my monthly cycle. I'm a bit concerned and have thought about calling my doctor to see if that is normal. I'm hoping it is!

Hi all, so sorry I've been neglecting this bit of the forum, I've just been in hibernation, but now hopefully with Spring on the way, I'll get more chatty.

At the moment we are having quite a bit of rain, its gone a little warmer, but there are a few very cold winds still knocking about. Just waiting for the sunshine to arrive.

Congratulations Rosanne on becoming a Grandmother soon, you must be so excited. My Mum always used to tell us, the parents are there to bring their children up in the right way, Grandparents are there to spoil them, just enjoy being a Grandmother.

Krys so glad you feeling a little better, is hubby on the mend as well.

I was out in the garden on Thursday for 2-3 hours, it was very damp but the rain held off, just clearing all the dead stuff up. I was amazed at the many signs of Spring, lots of snowdrops, miniature daffodils, the hyacinths in buds. I really enjoyed myself tiding up, but a lot more to do before the wedding arrives on June the 4th. Most likely I'll wait till the beginning of May then I'll start planting all the baskets and pots, but if it does warm up a little earlier, I'll start in April. I'm always afraid if I start to early, we'll have some late frost, just wait and see what this flippen weather throws at us next.

Of course I'm looking so forward to the "hen" weekend in Portugal at the end of April, Stephen and his friends are going over to Dublin next weekend for his "Stag" do. But Els and Stephen are having nights out over here as well for their friends who can't make it, for the weekends away.

Els was on at me earlier this morning, that it's time I started looking for a wedding hat, bag and shoes, I keep telling her it ages off yet, but she won't have that anymore. I've not had my hair cut, for over three months, it's now touching my shoulders and I really hate it. I said I wasn't having it cut till it went warmer, to cut a long story short, I'm at the hairdressers next week, then I suppose it will hat shopping.

Not much going on at my home, which is good. I am getting transferred to another job position, but I am hoping it will be good. It will have me very busy, though -- so don't get concerned if I don't post for awhile.

I don't know if I have mentioned it, but I am going to become a grandmother in August. This will be my first grandbaby
