Good morning to all my wonderful friends here, well we have snow over here, it's started last Friday 26th Nov, it's still here, every morning we wake up and there is another load :snow dropped from the sky, it's funny it snows a little in the daytime, but the big piles seem to appear overnight.
Besides being the start of the Christmas season, it's also my birthday season. Luke no 2 son went over to Amsterdam yesterday with four friends to celebrate his 30th birthday today, they come back late tomorrow night, worse for wear most likely.
Tomorrow my youngest daughter Elsbeth becomes 24 and on the 5th, Simon my eldest becomes 36. It's strange, I never really think about my age, till they all start having their birthdays, but then it makes me feel so old, thank goodness that feeling never stays for too long.
I did well last week, went into Wrexham and did 99% of my gift Christmas shopping, felt so proud of myself when I came home. But there is all the food buying to do, of course, which I DON'T LOOK FORWARD TOO, at all.
The last two days, I've been out in the snow delivering the flowers, but Els didn't take any orders for today as we where forwarned that there was another load of snow on the way, so it's great not having to go out. Cleaned yesterdays ashes out of the fireplace early and relit, I think my fire is the best thing about winter, I can't explain how much I love it. Just glanced over at it, needed more logs, so I fed it. Dave (hubby) spent Monday afternoon, sawing logs up for it, he tells me I have a very greedy fire.
It's almost 9.00 am over here, I'm still in my pj's so I'm going to head off towards the bathroom, even though I wouldn't mind staying in my pj's all day.
