because it's such a long time since I've shown my face on here, but a big Hi to Tilly, Rosanna and Krys, here's a
for all of you, except my apologies, please.
Tilly it sounds like you are working so hard, sometimes I wonder where we find all the energy from, to carry on, it must be because we are all "wonder" women. Sorry to read that Spider was poorly, but it's great that the vet has got him going again.py:
Rosanne your pumkins looked wonderful, hope that you had a great night. It sounds like the wedding plans are going well. My youngest daughter gets married next June, weddings seem to be far more complicated than when I got married, do you think the same? I think we need a lot ofplus quite a bit of money for them.
Krys glad that you are back home and that the home schooling is going well. I bet Ethan is now getting excited about Christmas, does he still believe in Father Christmas, it's so magical when the children still do. It's tradition in my house that they still all get a present from Father Christmas, even if it's only a pair of slippers. :xmas7
In the past few days, while I have been out delivering the flowers, the weather has been so mixed, it's very cold, but we have had torrential rain, violent winds, sunshine, hail yesterday thick fog, today very damp and misty, the only thing, touch wood we havent had is snow. That's forcast for the East coast next week, luckily we live on the West coast.
Els and Stephen are hoping to move into their house one or two weeks before Christmas, not sure how they will manage it, as it's such a busy time at the shop, but she's a determined young lady and they have some friends coming over from Ireland just after Christmas for a few days to stay with them. What did I say above about "wonder women".
I havent really got into the Christmas spirit yet, hardly any shopping done, but there's plenty of time yet and I know one day I will decide to go into Chester or Wrexham and hit the shops.
Just before I sat down to write this, I lit the log and coal fire, so I'm as snug as a bug in a rug, Luke has just brought me a mug of tea in, so everthing is as perfect as can be.
Love and
to all judith XXXX

This is going to be very random but this thread has gone on longer than the "What are you listening to?" thread!

Judith, it sounds to me you are doing well and keeping busy like the rest of us. I haven't really had the time myself to sit and write on here as much, but things are finally slowing down enough. Or should I say, somewhat slowing down. Michael has been working a lot these past few weeks as it is now (what UPS calls this time of year) "peek" season. He will be busy until Christmas Eve, and of course the week after. Ethan and I only have one day of school this week for Thanksgiving Holiday, so we will be breaking out the Christmas decorations this week. Needless to say, Ethan is very excited and has already made out his Christmas list. To answer your question Judith, he still believes in Santa... I'm so glad he does because it makes Christmas for us real fun around here. Although this year we will be heading back to my brother's house in Houston, because my sister from Barbados will be coming in for the holidays. We are all so excited and can't wait to see her! The last time she was in the states was for our father's funeral, so it's going to be a nice gathering of family we haven't had together in some time.
Ashleigh, I'm not sure if I should respond to your comment or just leave it be. I'm really hoping you're not trying to imply something and ruin my mood. I know my thread has been around for a very long time. Everyone here in this thread and on this forum that I've met have become like a second family to me. They have helped me through a real hard time in my life, supported me and I've met other people here with similar issues that were willing to also share their stories. So we've all supported one another and have made this thread a place we can all comfortably come to, not just for Sims, but to also make friends and to catch up on our daily lives.
I have made a habit of restricting myself from certain threads on the forum as I "myself" don't like reading repetitive things and sarcasm amongst others, so if this thread makes you feel the same then please restrict yourself from reading it....and if I'm taking your comment the wrong way, then please explain to me exactly what you were trying to say. Otherwise my assumptions of what you are trying to imply is nothing but "sarcasm", which was not called for. Thank you!

So? :| This is a thread in which all the members are following the rules, and it's nice friendly chat amongst friends. I really don't see what's the issue with it going on for so long.

I honsetly don't think that Ashleigh meant anything in particular by her comment, I have ever come across her being mean or sarcastic before.
@ Ashleigh
Having said that....Ash, your comment was rather random and unnecessary, so please refrain from doing that in the future. Thanks.
Thank you Sharon for clarifying Asheigh's comment for me. I wasn't so sure even after reading it more then once...LOL! I have lots of nieces and nephews that have been using the popular slang "just saying" at the end of there comments many times and it's mostly used as sarcasm, and that is why I took it offensively.
Thanks again and I apologize for my snappiness!
