sisters and mom!
Just wanted to share a few photos with you. It has been snowing all day and finally by 3 o'clock this afternoon it started sticking. It's not much, but Ethan was extremely excited! LOL!


He managed to gather some of it to throw at me! LOL! Little toot!




They are predicting we get from 1 to 3 inches by tomorrow morning, which is really not much. As much as I love the snow, I'm really hoping it doesn't accumulate anymore. My husband leaves very early in the morning and I'm hoping the roads aren't iced over. Louisiana just isn't equipped for weather like this and I wish they were, otherwise I wouldn't worry so much.

Anyway, hope things are going well for everyone. As for mom, she seems to be okay. She is going to one of her cousins for a few days next week after she gets her next injection and we will be heading towards Texas for a wedding next weekend. We are really looking forward to getting away for a few days and seeing family we haven't seen since the beginning of last year. All in all, things are stable for now and plan on keeping it that way!!!!!!!!!!

Poor little guy, I had to go on a hunt this morning for some gloves for Ethan to wear and this was all I could find..LOL


This is right off the back porch...I love this tree!

Hi Krys, for Ethans sake, I'm so happy that he got the snow that he wanted,
just keep it away from me. :bsnowman this snowman is for Ethan.
That tree looks beautiful, but I bet it looks beautiful without the snow as well.

So happy for you all that everything is going well, lets hope it keeps that way for good.

Have you or anyone else on this thread realised that this thread has just gone past it's half century, congratulations to all, will we make it to a full century, I so hope we do.

Still freezing cold over here, with a horrible east wind which makes it even colder, but no snow. But I'm sure Spring must be on its way somewhere, the snowdrops are all out, thay are such a pretty delicate little flower, I love them.

You know mom, I didn't even realize it will be year March 5th that I started this thread. Even though it was not so pleasant at the beginning, I have made some wonderful friends here hopefully for a lifetime! I would hate loose any contact with any of you as you ladies have been so wonderful to me. Each of you hold a dear place in my heart and always will from now on!

Oh I'm sorry to read that sad story.I don't follow the conversation completely and sometimes I'm afraid I don't understand very well what people is saying in English.
I'm so glad for you , you can talk with her again and you can catch up spending the lot of time you can with her.

Ethan is a very cute boy, he seems to appreciate snow lol. 2 years ago in Nice, it was snowing too, but very poorly (a little like the 1st photograph of the garden, the snow fell only in cars and roofs, some in the floor).
I think Ethan is quite talented for building snow man, after all this is a hard excercise to realize one.I never tested !
I like a lot the tree too,

Hi everyone, sorry to stay a way so long but things have been busy and i had no energy left to drop in here.

I finally went to a physiotherapist for my back and i go there once a week, the pain is a little less thank God. Also i've had med probs again, all is better now thankfully. We also had a scary weekend, two weeks ago, with our cat Boelie. All of a sudden she didn't eat anymore and when she walked she was very wobbely. After we went to the vet on mondaymorning and decided that it was probably time to say goodbey to her she started to eat and recovered like magic. It was very weird but she looks all well again. Nothing appears to be wrong. After talking to the vet it is possible she had a stroke or something and it is possible things turn bad again. I keep a very close eye on her, but i'd say she appears to be better than she has been for awhile. Miracles do exist.

I just wanted to stop in and give everyone a big Valentine's hello. I'm not doing too much -- just constantly working. I am on call 24 hours, 7 days a week. It is getting old, so I am thinking of looking for something else.

Krys -- I love the pictures! Ethan is such a cutie! I am so glad to hear that your Mom is doing well. That is such wonderful news!

Sorcie -- I am so sorry you are still having problems with your health. I hope it gets better for you soon. I will keep you in my prayers.
