I'm Natalie. I'm 35 yrs old and from Liverpool in England. I live with my 15yr old daughter, my boyfriend and my five cats Matty, Jelli, Scav, Sutty and Smokey.
I'm a counsellor for a well known children's charity here in the UK and I also create beads and jewellery for my little online shop. More of a hobby but it keeps me sane!
I'm currently a student and I'm doing a degree in Criminology and Psychology. I hope to move into criminal psychology or something to that effect once qualified. As a result of work and study, I no longer play Sims unfortunately. I still love the forum and my friends in staff and so upkeep the forum for all our members. I have a great team of staff who run the forum, I'm just about for techie bits, paying the bills and having a nose in the staff forum for a catch up or to discuss any problems that may arise.

My name is Doris. I'm original from Germany, but now living in Australia, which I love. English is my second language, so please be kind. I live on a one acre property with my husband, my dog, and my cat. I like gardening, reading horror and fantasy novels, and PC games of course.Building houses and doing meshes and recolours for the sims2 is my favorite hobby.

Hello Everyone! I'm Tami, AKA - Tinkle! I reside in the United States, currently living on the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona. I'm originally from the mid-west - Minneapolis, Minnesota. My husband of 19 years, Matt, was offered a job here in the desert in 2000 so we packed up the daughter and moved across the country. Although we have been here in this oven of a desert for more than 8 years now, I find that the only friends I have been able to make are here at BPS!
Let's see...hhhmmm, I am 41 years old. I have two children - Becca (short for Rebecca), the teenager at age 18 and my current "grease" monster...I can only hope it is a stage that will soon end or I may have to start using her to grease my frying pans. My other is my sweet little boy Jax (short for Jaxon), he is 9 and your typical little boy - but with a totally adorable sweet side that loves to give mommy "yummy" kisses. Yes I am crazy...there is a large age gap - 8 years (should have been 9 years but he decided to arrive a month early). Nothing like looking into the future and having one child starting 3rd grade and the other starting college the same year. Yep, don't know what I was thinking...
Now a little more about me: I'm a huge book worm, love my television shows, love cooking (as my thighs are proof of the that) and of course Simming. My daughter is the one to blame for that addiction. I am currently a stay at home mom, however I used to work for two hotel properties as sales assistant prior to our move across the country. When my daughter started school I dove into volunteering at the school, joined the PTO, etc. I was honored with a "Volunteer of the Year" award from the city and school district. Now I sit at my computer and drool over all the wonderful creations in the Sims community and because of the wonderful encouragement found here at BPS, I have jumped into recoloring. Meshing...trying to figure that one out with the wonderful help of Chrissy1. I am hoping that it all makes sense to me one of these days.
Alrighty then, as you can tell, I do ramble...

I'm Tara and I'm from North Carolina, however I now reside in Hampton,Virginia. I moved here about two weeks after my oldest daughter Ladonna Tyrina was born, who is now 11 years old. Her father Tyrone and I got married and now have two other children Lorenzo Tyrone Jr 10 years old and Lorenza Tyara 2 years old soon will be three. She thinks that saying peez (please) will always get her what she wants. It usually doesTinkle I don't know what I was thinking either. Once my oldest are off to college the baby will be their age. So I will still have one at home. Oh and I almost forgot to say I'm 32 and in about two weeks I'll be 33.
I like to go to movies, read, spend time with my kids, and of course am addicted to playing the sims and downloading on a regular basis. I am a stay at home mom, since our littlest was born. I was actually working for Verizon, a communication company until my dept closed and I was pregnant at the time. So I stayed at home and got attached to my baby and no way is she going to daycare right now. We've just purchased our very 1st real home, and will hopefully be moving in next week. My husband has his own business, which deals mostly in motorcycles and electronics. It does fairly well. BPS is a second home for me, somewhere for me to come and relax. I enjoy creating for the game. Mostly I recolor and build and decorate houses. So I think that's enough about me.

Hello! My name is Dora, I'm a 33 year old and come from Iceland. Yes the tiny island between the two continents...America and Europe. I graduated in 2008 with my B.ED degree in early education. I'm a kindergarten teacher and work as such, married with two children. Andri Thor who is autistic and has ADHD was born on August 20th 2003 and Johanna Arna was born on March 2nd 2006.
My simming is relatively new, I became sim-addicted in 2006, I bought the original series on a sale and that was it, I then turned to SIMS 2 and here I am today, simaholic with a downloadaholic on the side. One of my passions is building...I love to build. Although there are times, I don't feel like building and prefer to play the game and vice versa. My simmies get all the houses and furniture I can't have in real life. I've also done some recoloring, but building is really my passion. I'm always planning on learning to mesh - that's on the 2 do list.
I have other interests, like reading books, graphics design (I designed baby websites in Iceland), children, my family, movies, tv shows and traveling. I work in a kindergarten and I enjoy my work so much. At home I have a lot on my plate, but that does not interfere with my simming and coming here to the forum! The simming and coming here...is "MY TIME".

Hi I'm Sharon, I live in South Africa with my husband and 3 children Our household also includes 3 dogs, a Rhodesian Ridgeback , a Jack Russell Terrier and a Maltese. My entire family are animal nuts!! I study music theory and piano, am a dreadful bookworm, and an avid amateur photographer, especially wildlife photography. Oh! And I love to cook.

Hello everyone! My name is Rhonda and I live in the gentle rolling hills of Missouri with my teenage son and our cockatoo "sassy". She is often on the arm of my chair being petted while I'm at the pc. She really wants to walk on the keyboard and throw things off of my desk but that is playfully discouraged.
I have a passion for building and decorating that started when I was a little girl as I walked with my dad though homes being constructed by him that were being built up all around us as I was growning up. I designed house plans on graph paper for years, then my son introduced me to Sims2. Sims was just so much more fun, and to be able to place furniture and decorate to complete the whole concept was even better than I could imagine!
Downloading and answering wcif's has become a hobby which I enjoy very much when I'm not building. I've met some of the most wonderful people through Sims related forums and feel honored to be invited to Black Pearl Sims.

Hello everyone! My name is Linda I am from the US. I'm married and have a wonderful son Jaden who will be 2 in March. I have the good fortune of being a stay at home mom, so I spend a lot of time on the computer hunting for new CC for my game (yes I have a slight addiction to downloading ) I love decorating homes in my game, its really all I do. I also just started learning how to recolor and I love it thanks to all the help and encouragement I have gotten here in the forum.

Hi, I'm Betsy. I live in a suburb outside of Boston but am originally from Oregon so have a western accent which most everyone notices instantly ~am always getting the question "are you an English teacher,your diction is perfect"..I am a blue eyed blonde, well, that is until my hair turned an oh so amazing shade of mouse as I age. I live with my husband and 4 glorious kids~ 3 18year olds {yep, that's right triplets} and a 23 year old daughter. I also share my home with my sweetie pie cats, also take care of 6 raccoons, a groundhog named Clark, an opossum named Jerry and a plethera of wild birds that visit my feeders daily.
We own a piano restoration business. Before the kids, I was a piano technician~was the one who repaired the action and parts. Now I just do the repairs that no one else can do {or more than likely simply don't want to do}.
I am the type of person who is easily approachable & I love to talk. My son says "Mom, you never come back home without making a new friend". You can never have enough.

Hello pearls, my name is Hanneke. I was born and raised in a smaller town in a suburban area in the middle of the Netherlands.
I am currently 31 years old and working as an academic researcher and lecturer.
At 18 years old, after graduating high-school, I spend a year in California, US which was the time of my life! After returning to the Netherlands I moved to Amsterdam to start university and have lived in that marvelous city since (except for the periods I spend living in Spain for a few months during my undergraduate and postgraduate studies). I am about to move to a new home and I am so excited about this (it's an actual house with a garden!).
I am happy to become part of the team here. I have been helping out with updates for a few years now, and feel delighted that I can start helping out in other areas of the forum as well.

Hello... I'm Kim, I'm 55 years old and have been married for 35 years to a wonderful man, my best friend. I have 2 grown up kids, son and daughter and 4 lovely grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls.
I also have my babies, 2 cocker spaniels Tara and Alfy.
I come from a small village in West Yorkshire, England where I have lived all my life. I am kind of retired, I am home carer to my hubby who is semi disabled, so I spend my days at home.
I love reading, walking the dogs, web design and of course, creating CC for the Sims2

We live in Ontario, Canada. I am currently teaching myself all I can about 3D Meshing using 3DS Max.

I'm 21, I spend my days in an office and the rest of the time doing what I love: being on BPS, playing the sims, reading and spending time with my family.
I've been playing the sims since the very first one. Only started downloading custom content a couple years ago. Looking back, it's kinda funny that my download addiction started because I wanted a sponge to put next to my sims kitchen sink, to make it look more realistic. That search eventually led me to BPS & all of you! & I'm so very glad it did, I love it here and I'm so excited to be apart of this team/family! *hugs*
