mailbox recolours apartment life

I was trying to track down what item in my Deco/Sculptures causes my game to crash. So....I was reading about how those mailbox recolors are corrupt, did a search of my downloads folder for files containing the word "mailbox", deleted 'em, and am now wondering is anyone knows where abouts the mailbox shows up for purchase in the game?...Or does it? If it's about 2/3 of the way through Deco/Sculptures then I may have found my problem!

If not...the search continues!

If those of you with good memories can help me out on this one I'd be eternally greatful.

The downloaded mailboxes in my game showed up in the build section. I think in the garden section, but I'm not 100% sure.

I have downloaded so many mailboxes with other houses, and they are nowhere, so I used delphy organizer, typed mailbox and deleted all the results. And now I have finaly normal mailbox, and original one from apartment life. If you realy don`t need those mailboxes I realy suggest you delete them, because you realy have no use of them. Just use delphy organizer, it is worth it.

I found the mailbox that was causing me problems in with the rubbish bins (small kitchen ones) but I couldn't delete them it kept saying they were in use. They finally went when I deleted them using the organiser thingy from MTS.

Yes, I had excactly the same problem, that is why I deleted them all!

You are able to see the recolors of the mailbox in buy catalogue, if you´ve downloaded the buyable mailbox by SEDD from http://compsimgames.about.com/gi/dyn...am.etowns.net/.

But pay attention to the right version!

I`ve also the same problem with the mailbox. I`ve tried delphy, but couldn`t find a " strang" mailbox. Only the mailboxes I have for such a long time. Any idea how to search now? Thanks....

I think mailboxes you've had for a long time can still cause crashing when you install AL.

If you use clean installer and you scroll down to the "M" section there should be a package that says mailbox and it should be highlighted red, just right-click it and click remove package, you might also have trash cans (just do the same thing only scroll down to the "T's").Thats what happens when I get mailboxes and trash cans with houses I download.
