Don't tell anyone but I've never uploaded an image on this forum before so hopefully it works out well...
Anywho I've been playing TS2 ever since it came out and have all the EPs and SPs and like so many peeps out here I get bored with the game play itself. I prefer to build lots and even more to decorate them.
I know there are many more talented people out here than myself, but I'd still like to show ya what I've been up to.
I recently deleted my entire downloads folder and redownloaded what I really, really wanted (I had to narrow it down a bit - my laptop is about to go RIP).
So I set up a neighborhood just for lot building and decorating. The first one I build was Lot01 (very original I know!) and the pics of the inside are here. I haven't finished the landscaping yet so until I do: no outdoor pics! I hope you like it; I'd sure love to hear your feedback!

I play the same way you do. But sometimes I need a break from decorating and then I play.
I spot parts of the promise bedroom I absolutely anderstand that choice.

Thank you Lineca, Tara and Saharra! I'm trying not to build huge houses but to stay in the smaller lot range and make it a bit harder to fit everything into a smaller space to challenge myself.
Anyhow Lineca, the guitar can be found here http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=213739&c=1 and was made by Atavera. It's the decorative only one including recolors.
Oh and the little houses on the floor I believe are part of the Leyris nursery/kid room by Mirake on TSR but I'll have to double check on that to make sure. If incorrect I'll change it here, if not...then that's it!

As I have a week off right now I've been playing my heart out (well not playing but building and decorating I should say) and here's another lot I did today. I made this one with accent color green/lime green and I hope you like it!:autumn2:
