    Hunii ive seen this problem posted before,and what the person did was deleted the cep file from there downloads folder and reinstalled it again and it worked, you could try this.
    Hope it helps i know its fustrating when you run into problems with your first try, and id hate to see you give up.

    I am so happy to say I have successfully recolored a Sims object! I used your tutorial, Numenor's tutorial from your provided link, Paint Shop Pro XI, and of course Sim PE - it's really easy. I only wish now that I had chosen an "original" color option for my object(it's the same color as an original in game) lol. Thank you so much for making everything so easy to follow and for sharing your knowledge. I'm off to recolor more things

    Thanks for this (and all) tutorials. I have Paintshop Pro 10 and you don't see a lot of tutorials with this program.
