    With the recent closure of Megaupload and other file hosting sites, and as a result, a lot of broken links here on BPS, we've been talking in the staff forums about the possibility of hosting the files ourselves here on BPS.

    Currently we have quite a lot of disk space and bandwidth going spare. However, if we start allowing files to be uploaded, this could eventually lead to extra disk space and bandwidth being needed.

    The disk space we currently have should last quite a while but the bandwidth could go up quite quickly as more and more files become hosted on our server. This could lead to an increase in our hosting fees. It "could", but might not...I would have to monitor usage for a period of time and see how it effects us.

    If it did incur more costs, would our members be prepared to donate more if it were required?
